As a lover of victorian, art deco, renaissance, baroque, and simple maximalist home decor I've grown sick of all the, all white room with beige accents and a couple fake plants room designs that are popular lately, I appreciate this video

I didn't learn the word maximalist until a few years ago, but as a lover of bygone eras, I agree. Modern minimal decor does feel fresh in some cases, but I need a home that looks and feels lived in. I love the cozy, cottage, victorian, Parisian, romantic styles, and all of the above.

OMG YES, I've seen so many of these room renovation and I rarely see anything that isn't this white/modern and all the fake plant stuff. Its so refreshing to see some personality in a room renovation. (This isn't a diss if you like white and modern that's cool, but like this topic on KZbin has an oversaturation of that particular aesthetic)

The beauty of this is that we ALL can romanticize our lives by making small changes such as buying a pretty tea cup for tea or listening to romantic music while commuting to work.

So true! I inherited some beautiful china from my great grandmother, and I love using it! I believe pretty things are meant to be used, so I don't wait for special occasions. I break it out a few times every month if I've made a nice dinner and anytime I make tea I use one of the pretty cups :) I used to try to save pretty clothes and items for special occasions, but life is a special occasion! It makes me happy to wear pretty skirts and dresses and use special china even on regular days :)

This video is so dreamy to me. Now I live in a tiny room with my boyfriend (in a house share), we're really poor and can barely afford rent and food. I also have many mental health problems which just makes it all harder. But I'm also studying my master's, have an amazing partner and am creative. I try to decorate my room with beautiful things and items that fit my style. I bought a lovely vintage tea pot and teacup at a charity/thrift shop. We hung up my drawings on the wall, etc. It's as good as it can be at the moment, but I'm dreaming of moving to my own place at some point, decorating it and also making an office space where I enjoy working and creating. These kinds of videos inspire me and keep me going. I hope I can achieve it sometime...

Of all the “historical” style rooms makeover I’ve seen on KZbin this is by far the most tasteful I’ve seen 🤩 I’m a designer and having studied the fields of architecture and history of art, I can say this is pretty accurate to the era. It doesn’t look tacky at all and the furniture looks good quality. Everything is harmonious and the bedroom looks really cozy and inviting. Imo it’s a bit overloaded with decoration 😅 but maybe it’s because I lean towards minimalism. Anyways, kudos!

A big part of interior design a lot of people miss when they just want to replicate a look is making a place that has a story and tells someone about you - but you nailed it 100%.

I love her energy so much! The music, the videography, the room, and those little parts at the pond and with the tea and knighting Jared made this video so special. Also thanks for the inspiration. I've been trying to figure out what to do with my room and a green like that would be so perfect with my furniture.

Love what you did in your room. Amazing the things people get rid of for almost nothing. My house is also like 85% thrifted and we love it, more eclectic, but very cozy and homey. I love your dog, we also had a loving black lab that we just had to put down. He was almost 15. We miss him so much. You got a wonderful haul for your bedroom. I appreciate things that were loved before me, we focus too much sometimes on needing things to be "Pinterest" perfect. Wonderful bedroom inspiration

You did a great job pulling together a Victorian vibe! Twenty five years ago I bought my bedroom set from an interior designer’s wholesale warehouse. I was just drawn to it, but didn’t realize til much later that it was Victorian furniture! Your room is dreamy and gives me some ideas about dressing mine up a bit more!

This was so therapeutic... I want to start being open about the vintage things I love and creating my own little world even if I live in a city and work a 9 to 5 💕

I wonder how many people watch your videos and they’re like on the opposite side, dark aesthetics, kinda depressed, don’t know how to enjoy simple things, but at the same time admire you and are grateful to you I mean thank you so much🤎 I’ve been watching your videos and it made my days slightly better

I love your free spirits! So glad to NOT see painted furniture! But it's an advantage for you since a lot of young people DON'T LIKE NATURAL WOOD! Absolutely crazy. A beautiful room!
