A good idea for the book pages is to go to your local thrift shop / garage sales and look for vintage books that are in rough / poor condition. Sometimes (depending on where you'll look) you can find books that are absolutely desecrated for free or next to nothing, and they'd just get thrown out anyways.

If you want your papers look older and more medieval-aged, I would recommend you to use tea granules. Put them into big dish, take a few spoons of it, spill hot water, and then put in your papers. You can put some granules on the paper too, and after it dries, it will leave very good looking stains. Leave it for at least few hours or over night so it would be more brown. I also like to print something in black on my papers and then use for collaging.

I love all these DIYs but sadly I've done them all before! For the notebook instead of cardstock for the cover, I used a piece of leather from an old jacket and watercolour paper on the inside. I use it for a simple floriography journal in which I go out and paint the flowers then add in pen their meanings

coffee and tea stained paper is good how ever the acidity in the coffee will make what you put on the paper not last offset/nutralize the ph balance with baking soda should make your markings last longer. for the sketchbook/notebook part I found that old t-shirt and or faux-leather works too faux leather you can use with cardboard details on the cover to give it a raised detail look but best to use fabric glue for these. If you also want the signatures/paper more sturdy and not rip out of the book glue down 1 paper piece from the inner book to each of the inner covers you can do this in place of the extra black paper that they show in the video. Happy DIY ;3

i cant stop watching your videos, i just wanna make all of these! (and I probs will lol!) however, tiny advice for the moon phases, the middle phase on your bookmark doesn't exist! the bookmark you were trying to make seemed to be the second half of the moon phase, skipping the new moon (the phase were the moon is in front of the sun so the moon isn't visible) and the third quarter moon! (where only half of the moon is visible to us!) the actual moon phase you'd be looking for is a waning gibbous moon phase! it's basically a full moon minus a waxing cresent moon! if you're confused, you can just google it if you'd like! also to clear up confusion, waxing means "to increase" so that's when the moon starts as a new moon and is slowly growing to a full moon. waning means "to decrease", so continuing from a full moon and slowly shrinking to a new moon! hope this helps! :)
