In this Dark and Darker tips video you'll learn how to some really important dark and darker solo tips, as well as a dark and darker solo build / loadout, and also Dark and Darker how to solo and Dark and Darker how to extract solo fairly consistently. This guide is effectively all of the following, a Dark and Darker solo wizard guide, a Dark and Darker solo fighter guide, a Dark and Darker solo rogue guide, a Dark and Darker solo barbarian guide, a Dark and Darker solo cleric guide, and a Dark and Darker solo ranger guide. On top of that I'll be showing you how to do Dark and Darker solo high roller runs, but I'll go more in depth on those on the next playtest since we're almost out of time to play this one.

There are excellent barbarian players that barely get hit going through dungeons. I watched a level 11 ranger go through a red level that's how great the class is.

Yeah, learning curve is steep but it's quite a lot of fun, it's also hard to get rid of the typical Battle Royale mentality from other BR games like Apex which doesn't work here specially for new players, this is a much more tactical/methodical game.

I was thinking about making a how to and tips and tricks video as well but i don't see the point now lol you did a great job man. There's very little i could add and you covered things i would of missed. Shoes off is important for solos imo, and heal potions of different heal values will stack and heal very fast if you drink both. They just have to be of different values. I leaned a few things here watching so im sharing some of my knowledge as well. Good video!

This has some great points for anyone struggling to get out of there first raids clerics are a strong class and how often he used his aoe i would recommend him switch it for smite or judgement as anything like holy purification that has a small cooldown timer and dose massive aoe dmg should be utilized as soon as it comes off cooldown to maximize ur dps as cleric u dont need anyone to quickly clear pve its probably the best class to pve stuff with solo for that reason and if u run 2 in a group u can kill all mobs without even swinging ur mace once its really about how u play what ever u do just dont use it like he did in the video before he extracts lol xD

hey i play barb - i tried to play this way u do aswell - hmm very boring - its more fun to go in with nothing and do zero to hero runs - with the barb ^^ - i managed to kill teams of 2s so far - 1v3 is abit weird they should not be allowed to queue with solo players is my opinion, because if ur only way to survive is dodge them and hide - it is no fun - they need to change the matching system to auto q teams or make solo / duo servers

This is coming from a person who started this playtest but has done like 40+ runs exclusively as ranger While this is good advice it has some issues as unless you one of 2 classes you will be spending alot of gold on healing and spending not enough time getting loot to make up for those costs Another problem of this is that it not only keeps you from gaining combat experience it also had a chance of you getting caught in a bad spot by untouched ai and not be able to get out in time A tip I can give to mainly rangers and rogues but works for all classes, darkness is your friend so you should use it at every opportunity Rogues can lurk in a dark corner to either enhance their invis or get the jump on someone while rangers can plant traps in dark spots of hallways and use them as a safe point to retreat to if needed Learning to pick your fights is important but never picking any will only harm you in the long run Depending on the situation and the classes of them I occasionally pick 1 v 2 if I have time to prepare but I dont recommend that to everyone The best advice I can give is that if you don't have a full inventory or a great piece of gear your want to bank and you see a good opportunity to attack someone then take it Playing solo requires alot of luck and risk taking so if you only play it safe you will get no where Good starter advice in the vid tho and a great way to introduce yourself to the dungeon, mechanics etc

Hard agree on saying darkness is your friend as a solo. I've crouched in dark corners as a full plate fighter multiple times as full teams walk on by or even once loot the room I'm in. Biggest tip I can give - a full room of unlit torches is very suspicious, but a single unlit torch is just an oddity.

@@Zyzzyva72 a tip for this is to put any potions you have equipped in ypu inventory as they are really easy to spot even in complete darkness when they are on your hip

Clerics is probably the best class to get introduced to the game. Simply because of the quite amazing AOE that damages undead so it solves the issue that most other classes has spawing into a room with a bucnh of skeletons/mummies etc. you can gather them all up & AOE them. Also i have discovered that Clerics SOUND scary when they have plate boots on. I have seen other players run away from me coming round the corner, lol. Also the AOE is on a 1 min timer & only gets better the more experinced you get. Fighter & Ranger is also both really good early on because of the healing skills they have. Barbarian has no healing but with the smash skill you can instantly knock down wooden doors (and containers) so you basicly never need to ever stop moving untill you spot a portal. Rogue & Wizard is kinda brutally tough with default gear. I mean the rogues is probably the only class where you need to hit a vase twice to break it. Not that they are bad classes but usually need a bit of leveling, gear & a fair bit of skill.

I want D&D to add an alchemy system. Imagine buying beakers and then finding herbs in the dungeon you can use to craft while in game. I think a more risky rest mechanic like actual sleeping would be cool. You use a cot and cannot hear or see for like 30 seconds. You’d have to have someone keep an eye out for the rest of the team while they sleep. Sleeping could refresh certain spell costs and other skills.

Alchemy sounds really fun and I love doing crafting things in games, but that cot mechanic sounds annoying as hell.

U kno I was actually discussing that with a friend, I hear that there’s supposed to be a forest level before the dungeon. Maybe on the forest level there’s bandit NPCs and NPC adventurers that we can fight or trade with for cooking or alchemical stuff and maybe the forest has access to some useful herbs like for potions. It’d be cool if having a campfire and like a cooking pot or cauldron would be needed to craft potions in raid. But also an alchemy system outside of raiding would be nice too

@@Eggsecuter I love that idea. I really like the dark fantasy and think it would be cool to have a dungeon level that’s a literal forest. Even underground it would be really cool. Or maybe areas of a dungeon that could be submerged in darkness to where you have to use a torch to to both see and not take damage from the shadow entity.

Games are too short for that sleep mechanic. It is functionally the same as the campsite. The campsite refreshes abilities at higher rarities

Cant even get out with anything once. Went through a portal once but it took me to another floor where I lost my loot. Always a group going around killing new solo players. Fully geared chasing down people clearly low lvl trying to run from them.

I believe they do, but not the same healing potion, you need to drink the cheap one and then the expensive one, the only way to stack them I believe.

Yes it’s ratty. But unfortunately 1v3 in this game isn’t always a good choice. I try and fight all 3 mans that look like noobs and usually avoid full geared 3 mans. In these kind of games sometimes it’s better to flee than fight and risk losing everything in a fight where all odds are against you
