Dark and darker - Using the Golden Key on the current patch. Not worth it

I mean people are selling gold keys for about 16-18 Gold Ingots. Which go for 250-300 each. Which is anywhere between 4,000-5,800 Gold. So put that in to perspective what you need to gain from that room to be worth your while and risk bringing a key. The gold piles are limited to what? 6 uses now? And to increase those chances even further with a luck potion it’s 150 gold. It’s not worth it anymore.

keys were selling for 1k gold each when you posted this. i bought a bunch. it's being fixed, though. it was due to a duping bug, they're rolling back the servers by 12 hours to undo it all. but yes, there's no reason to use a golden key, unless you're making content. otherwise it's far more valuable as a store of value.

Just looked up the in the new marketplace for golden keys and you can now get them for 500 gold so now it may actually be worth that but you still have to get lucky to get ruins now unless you play as a 3 man. otherwise you'd have to wait every 5 mins to get either solo or duo ruins

ah yeah you too. yeah sucks I think its best to just use it as money really for trading at this point hopefully it becomes more worth it in the future but now its not worth.

I just used a golden key to test it out as well since we're close to a possible wipe. Betwen two of us I think we got like 1,000 total in treasure. about 500 each. It's definitely not worth since I could have sold the key for 3-4 times that amount. We also got inspected in the lobby so people knew we had a key and we had to fight to the death at the tower.

My friend had none i have one with 150 luck. Just found out that they added the rusty key door back to ruins so that might be a better choice

yeah I have 150 luck he had 0 I just did an old rusty key as well might make a vid on that soon and spent 2k to get the key and got back maybe 1k 500 in sellables and another 500 in items@@xenagoras2253

yeah for sure a lot of fun that theyve added that but keys are just currency which i prefer to have them be used for crazy loot but maybe in future
