This new returned Lion has become my favorite main character in all the lore. He is so relatable and likable. Previously, in the lore, I understood that these were beyond base line level humans and didnt have anywhere near my experiences and/or culture so any differences were looked over or just plain ignored as I decided characters I liked. But this returned Lion is just so relatable. Mike Brooks did a great job and I hope they allow him to continue this story arc.

hi Sir i was wondering if you could do a video on my favorite Successor Chapter The Iron Snakes. i would love to learn more about them as i just found them by reading the Books URDESH: The Serpent and The Saint and URDESH: The Magister and The Martyr I only seen one lore video about them as all i can find out is that they are a second founding Successor Chapter of the Ultramarines. and my favorite Battle Brother would have to be Captain Praid i really would like to know more about them as i'm going to try and see if i can get some models and paint them up like this chapter

In Son of The Forest, lion eljohnson “mellows out” only after meeting one of his Fallen sons and finds out that there was a huge misunderstanding at the fateful Battle of Caliban. Though Luther and his allies did indeed betray their primarch, there were so many others who didn’t know about Luther’s intent. They only saw the Lion descend upon them and attack them without mercy. Many believed that it was the primarch that was the traitor. El Johnson realized that if he had taken a more measured approach to the situation then he might have saved himself and his legion a lot of trouble

Amazing as always Balders. Story at the end really shows why nothing could stand before humanity during the crusade era. With the primarchs fulfilling their designed purposes and leading their legions, nothing can compare. Such a different force to scattered primarchless chapters, despite amazing chapter masters. Makes you think how effective the Ultramarines successors could be if they were United under a Roboute who was able to do what he was designed to do with the same freedom as the lion.

Finished The Lion book like a week ago and to see he’s already gone so far but changed so little in the chapter itself even after the Risen were revealed to Azrael…. at the very least, the mystery is tantalizing! I needed this to renew my faith, I did not know my Primarch which the Unforgiven lauded so highly in “Legacy of Caliban”, now I do! Glory to the Imperium, For the Lion, For the Emperor!!

⚪🤍 New names for the I Legion, the XVI Legion and the XII Legion: Rock Angels (symbols of the Knights' Rock, the Knights' Winged Sword, Caliban's Earth Angel and Caliban's Lion-Wolf), (old) Luna Bulls and (old) War Wolves (symbol similar to the Space Wolves, but red and without fur).

Thank you Baldermort for always entertaining :), something for you perhaps, I had a chance to run a question by one of the one of the lore writers at GW on something I wanted to know: What would be stronger, Alpha Legion indoctrination or Genestealer Cult infection and what would happen if the two were to happen to one person? Managed to get this reply which may be a good story - 'I'd probably say Genestealer infection would win out as it is a more important part of their IP. It's extragalactic shizz no human can really explain, having that trumped by hypnosis would feel like it was underselling a very core part of Genestealer lore. The Genestealer infection wins out, it shows them as a scary threat to even Chaos Space Marines.' Deffo a good idea for a spy thriller/crime novel.
