Holy crap what a game, Jordan's perfect secondary draws made this game an uphill battle for Taak, but the Dark Angels held the line and sent the hungry xeno horde screaming to their deaths. Taaaaak, you are still the man brother.

Like even with Jordan, he shouldnt have put the mawloc in shooting range so far up when it has no invuln save like that. I dont understand why games workshop killed the faction so hard.

I was rooting so hard for the Nidz! I had a game with my Nidz Vanguard vs Black Legion that went down to the wire. I needed to make a 12" charge with my Deathleaper in turn 5 and kill Abaddon off an objective to win... rolled the charge, double 6! Woo hoo I made a 12" charge, no CP left. I thought this is it I have it, game is mine! I think Abby was on 4 wounds... But I did 3 wounds and left him on 1 wound, he swung back and killed my Deathleaper, and I lost by a point. Anyhoo, great battle report, it was an edge of my seat one for me 😎

There will be Guard in the final battle, but probably not what you are expecting. We've learned a lot from producing this mini-series and hope that in the future when we get the chance to do it again, we can involve a lot more factions in the story.

At 11:20 how does that unit Pile In if it is taken out of Engagement Range? Even tho the unit charged, how can you select them to fight if they aren't in Engagement Range? 🤔

If you make a charge move you are allowed to activate in the Fight Phase, even if you are no longer in engagement, so long as you satisfy "making a successful charge" in the previous phase. As you are allowed to activate in the Fight Phase, because of making a successful charge, you can do all the actions allowable in that activation including a pile move. The pile move requires you to reach engagement with an enemy model. In this case, the pile move could pull in the enemy model and thus legal.

I'm just watching the dice completely rob these beautiful Tyranid models. Jordan was getting pounded by the ungodly saves How in the world did Deathleaper not kill Azrael that last round, he's got precision so that inner circle shouldn't have been getting in the way

I am so sorry we missed that Deathleaper has precision. Hard to play a perfect game of Warhammer 40k but still, we will endeavour to try and be as close to perfect as possible. Going to need to give Jordan another go in the future.
