I have to say with so many channels moving to cameras positioned above the table for the entire battle I really appreciate the hand camera shots. It helps bring you into the game a bit more than looking top down the entire time and I personally get a better grasp of which models are where. Keep up the great work!

As a GSC player, this was just painful to watch! The board looks great, but it was so open. Firing lanes to pretty much the entire board.

The buildings counted as ruins you can’t see through, so I don’t think that was the case.

@@zEeoN Even with that, there are still massive lanes of fire for the Ravenwing. Very few places for the GSC to hide and still engage in the game.

@@corrm Well tbf, the RW are also extremely fast so that didn’t help but the layout is even one from the tournament companion. So yeah, might be better with more terrain but it seems apt to use that for a league game

@@zEeoN The GW tournament layout uses 12 ruins, this seems to have only 6 big ruins on the table. Way less than the tournament layout.

Reroll 1's to hit on the Acolytes and reroll 1's to wound because (I believe) the target is in range of an objective marker, could have resulted on quite a bit more damage to the bikes!

I know you want the boards to look nice and for it to be a nice casual, chilled vibe. But these games would be a lot more enjoyable to watch if it was a little more balanced. The GSC army never stood a chance with this mission and board.

Im still new to the rules of this game but I see conflicting answers when I look this up. I saw a couple of times during this game that some of the GSC units didnt even roll a saving throw at all, they just took the wounds because the AP subtracted too much from the saving throw. But ive also seen other games where people are applying the AP to the saving throw itself, so if the SV is 3+ but the AP is -2, they are attempting to roll 5+ saves. Which is actually correct?

Either way works, but GSC generally have low Saves to the point where the AP would be enough you'd need to roll a 7+ on a D6 dice, which is impossible hence they just die 😅

Never forward deploy GSC. If your opponent gets the first turn, you shouldn't be getting shot at all if you deploy right.

Sadly, you cant shoot hand flamers and demo charges in the same phase, as hand flamers are pistols, and demo charges are not.

@@robertreyes6959 well the demo chargers are on guys that don't have pistols so they're not shooting pistols so they can fire other weapons like most characters that are joining units only have pistols so they can shoot their pistols and then everybody else can shoot their big guns
