Telelens is great, but we’re working on a gimbal, rapidly catching the action as it happens. Telelens and gimbal are not friendly, the footage is still too shaky. Would need a dolly, or tripod set up, which would restrict our movement… thanks for the suggestion though. I’ll have a think if there might be an alternative way of implementing those close up shots :)

i feel like all you need to win in the tabletop is a crap ton of anything. if i roll 50 weak 1 damage shots from the guard i just feel like the statistics are going to pull in my favor most of the time.

Welcome to Guard tactics 101! Collect your lasgun and stay alive long enough to make it worthwhile. You're not wrong, weight of fire is a tactic. But this is countered by them being taken off the table without much effort. A balance of lasguns and bigger guns for bigger targets is key. Lasguns vs tanks is not fun!

One rules thing I noticed! Leman Russ Battletanks reroll 1s to hit always, and reroll all hits if the enemy is on an objective that you don't control. So a number of those 1s to hit from the Russ should've been rerolled. BUT! it didn't take away from the awesome game!

Shawn Eagle can use slayer of nightmares for free per battle round vs. vehicles/monsters since he is mounted and can't use AGA. It's the only useful battle tactic he can use his ability on.
