Dark Cloud Main Theme (Bossa Nova Version Extended)

I found Dark Cloud 2 less playable character-wise but more in the field of mini games which was fun, plus rebuilding towns was cool. I literally spent hours trying to perfect everything that I forgot i stayed up till 4 every night for 2 weeks. Plus, you can't ignore Dark Cloud 1&2 ost, it's just too beautiful.

i had this shipped to me from the US (i'm AUS) in early 2001 when i was 4-5 years old, i am now 18 and i still have my copy of the game and play it regularly - you could say i have no life, but i say that it was worth it and to this day i still get the chills from listening to the ost :D (by the way i played the demo back then and nagged the shit out of my parents to get it for me, so that is how i got it)

I played this game when I was 4 years the first time... I couldnt get past the first boss :D But I picked it up 9 years later and finally beat it, now 1 year later I still listen to the Music... This game is Amazing.

I must admit that the instrument that the song is in can really change the feel. Normally, for non atmospheric (Just to listen) I didn't like the main theme. I actually quite like this as a song that I could just listen to because it feels less atmospheric to me.

its too bad they never made the game the way they wanted to. I would've loved to be able to jump, the world on a hex grid, villages floating in midair, travel on a flying carpet. All just sounds so awesome for what the game came out to be instead.

love dark cloud! if I remember right, this version played after you defeat the dark genies final form, during the credits. I am suprised that not many people like this game. the second one was not as good as the first one, but it was still a great game. I really was wishing that they would make the third game, but I guess not. good song, though. :)

I hate that this game was somewhat underground, I mean, no one really gave it much love. It makes me think how the hell did Kingdom hearts get good reviews, the story was bad, and why'd they crossover FF with Disney, shame.

story was bad excuse me? xD sure, dark cloud got nowhere near the acclaim it deserved, which is a bloody shame, Dark Chronicle was even better! but the Kingdom Hearts franchise has a story deeper than most JRPGs out there, great combat, nice distraction/diversion, it's not for everyone, but it deserves no hate, really. Edit: 3 years ago, talk about late x3

Dark cloud 2 was just a different storyline with the same concept and less playable characters.
