That's a theory, but Azariah Kyras, Chapter Master of the Blood Raven, was already corrupt at this moment. That's explain why Macha, in Dawn of War 1, tried to stopped the Blood Raven, and to me, why Taldeer tried to stopped Davian Thule from recovering ancient relic of the Chapter.

Kyras was actually behind everything - Exterminatus of Cyrene included, because Angelos didn't trust him and Azariah wanted to break him, because any other method would place him under suspicion before he could corrupt/sacrifice the chapter.

However, the Tau are pretty stubborn with their Greater Good creed, and they actively enforce it on anyone who they encounter. Anyone who refuses to join the Tau Empire either gets the camp treatment or gets the crap blasted out of them. Important thing to remember about the Tau, though, is that they'll actually let you surrender and join them without any trouble, which is a rarity in 40k :P

They are one of the 19 implants a traditional Space Marine receives. These glands collect genetic information and form the blueprint for another set of those 19 organs. Once matured or when the SM is dead, the gland is removed and used in the process of making another marine.

They still can't frighten Orks. Orks relish the thought of fighting with enemies who are hard as nails, the more lethal the better. To them, smashing up Necrons is just an even better way of proving to everyone else that nothing's tougher or meaner than an Ork.

Ten Thousand years ago, the Eldar were the strongest empire in the entire galaxy, however they began to manifest dark, sadistic practices, resulting in the birth of the Chaos god Slanesh, killing most of their population. @Finge42 I know about that stuff, but this is getting off topic, along with the thing about Slannesh. What I said was that the Eldar would probably have been in more danger if the Horus Heresy didn't happen since the Emperor had plans to start using the webway to attack their craftworlds, and all the manpower that the Imperium would have used on Chaos armies would be directed at the Eldar. That doesn't sound like they had a good chance of surviving.

The Monolith isn't meant as an army-wrecker. Think of it more as an unbelievably powerul support unit. It can teleport at a very long range, and then bring the rest of your army with it. For the Necrons, with their staggeringly slow move speed, thi ability is worth far more than the monolith's firepower.

The Banshees are surprisingly tough with their full upgrade. Armor + exarch + call of war = toughest unit of its tier. Oh, and the Wraithlords and Fire Prisms are some of the most powerful vehicles.

Yeah man i noticed that. The monolith is a scary thing to see creeping up to your army, with all its guns and green glowing aura, but on DOW, its really not that good by itself. Its good as a heavy damaging support unit, thats also by itself good against just infantry i think cause of the AOE and higher damage, but say for the Tau, with a few fire warriors, skyrays, hammerheads and crysis suits with just one broadside, can take out entire necron bases. (speaking from past experience only)

@PROkiller16 Well I'd say it would be unlikely, because the Eldar don't have the numbers to spawn a new chaos god,the Imperium is willing to sacrifice entire worlds before letting them turn to chaos and so isn't very likely to spawn a new god and the Tau are the closest to being good and the Ethreal caste won't let them fall to it,so propably not gonna happen. But if it would happen, it would propably be the end of all.

@50033836 - of course. The Chaos gods know full well that they must remain in everlasting squabbles but with no one ever defeating another, otherwise they would all disappear. The nature of Chaos requires constant struggle and never-ending power games.

The reason why the forces of Disorder clearly lost is because Gorgutz apparently killed Lord Crull on Lorn V and Gorgutz had to rebuild his forces on Kronus due to the forces of order beating the Orks back.

Interesting thing, even though it mentions that the Eldar hate Chaos, the forces of Chaos arguably saved them from getting wiped out by the Imperium, because the Horus Hearsay prevented the Emperor from finishing off the Golden Throne that would allow access to the Eldar Webway. More assuming events are that an Eldar Farseer did try and warn the Imperium, by the person he chose to warn had been corrupted by Slanesh.

@dragonstormx Well, its because of Slanesh that the Eldar's souls cannot be reborn into a new life. Also the Chaos gods killed most of the Eldar's Gods and their homeworlds. Ulthwe hates Chaos to a greater extent because their craftworld is really close to the eye of terror, which causes them to be frequently raided by Chaos

But it's propably gonna be hard to fight when the real space around you becomes infused with the essence of the Warp,turning it into as close to hell as possible, not even the Necrons or Tyranids would be able to stop it, because daemons would just be spawning forth all the time, it would overwhelm everything. And of course such misguided Exterminatus can happen, but it's gonna take more to spawn gods

@alonmerlin It's not a daemon per se, it's a piece of the Eldar war god, who is different from any chaos god. And Eldar Farseers are ancient and wise, they would never let the same mistake happen again. Should another Fall-like thing happen, most likely the whole galaxy would be consumed by Chaos.

I think it was because the Eldar had a different objective there. Apparently the more advanced the civilization on a planet, the more likely it is to reawaken the Necrons... So Taldeer did all s/he? could to make sure no advanced civilization develops on Kronus any time soon - whether human or alien - by breaking those that exist and leaving them no reason to come back. Roundabout, callous, but arguably effective

@PROkiller16 True they might be lethal,but when you got waves after waves of daemons coming at you,even if you get up,you are gonna be overwhelmed and whatever is reanimating Necrons will sometime be taken out,ending that. And the Tyranids can't really become better by fighting daemon, because they can't get the biomaterial that they need to change when fighting daemons,so they will not use that adaptability fighting daemons, which will mean the end for them.

They're the closest things to the "good guys" in this universe imo. They're the courageous remnants of what of them who didn't succomb to slaanesh, and are way less fanatical and beligerant than any of the other races. + They went to kronus not to conquer it but to defeat the necrons.

Eldar are not good nor evil, They just take care of their interests first and foremost and don't care about anything else going on unless there is some great looming threat to them or something they can take for themselves out of it. Like only reason why Eldar attacked Tau that seeked peaceful relations with Eldar was that Eldar saw Tau as beneath them. They wanted to search the planet far and wide for their relics and Tau were just a nusaince and obstacle to their goals. Also They are most responsible for making the warp the place it is in 40k by murderfucking Slaanesh into existence. :P Craftworld eldar went a long way to make sure it wouldn't happen again but still, they are called and calculated and wouldn't lift a finger to save the galaxy if they didn't had to live in it themselves.

Tau are fine and dandy, but they suck in the beginning. An Eldar player can kick a Tau player's ass in the first ten minutes with a few Guardians. First five or ten minutes, a Tau only has some Krewts armed with sticks and stones.
