The goal is to scare people away period so nothing is even remotely similar and in turn they can claim complete ownership of a normally vague word like Monster and Monster designs in general. Thank Goodness I never drink Monster Energy before this news came out, Monster Energy turned out to be a mean bully company after all. At least my decision from the start to never drink it payed out well for me. Ridiculous and seems too unnecessary to sue a video game like Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals. There are many other titles other than that involve the word "Monster". Including some movies or shows. "Godzilla: King of the Monster", "Love and Monsters", "Monsters, Inc.", "Monsters University", "Monsters Vs. Aliens", "Monster Jam". Mobile games such as "Monster Legends" and "My Singing Monsters". Hell, there's even a job hire and apply website simply called "Monster" literally. Try suing those, Monster Energy. But no matter what, it's useless and it's nonsense. "Monster monster monster." What do you know? I guess Monster Energy really is filled with actual monsters who work there. Maybe another reason they're doing this is so they would get more money. A greedy move.

The word "Monster" is not something that can be claimed in any way shape or form as an infraction in of itself as it is regularly used by most thing. It can not be used.
