Don't know, and cant' tell. Mathematically, it is just a medium that stuff sits in. Recent developments have drawn solutions from general relativity saying that space is "made of something". I saw the mathematics and almost had a heart attack.

no the objects in pace are freely suspended in equilibrium by gravity and assigned their own orbits in an ever expanding universe without an outer reach for it. When do I go home?
