I actually really liked it. Let's face it, other than having a lot of personality and charm, the original series is not even remotely a good show. I mean, it's a cut above most saturday morning cartoon fare but that doesn't say a whole lot. I liked the idea of the world without he-man stuff. Hamill was fun as skeletor. Adding some depth to orko and lynn was nice. my biggest complaint is that this should have been longer and added even more depth to Lynn's story so as not to make here heel turn switch side moments far less jarring.

He is alternately known as Orko the Great, because of the potential he was born with. He was supposed to become the most powerful sorcerer of the Trollan race, but he was a slow learner, and basically got beat down by his own society for it, to the point that he didn't have any sort of faith in himself. His match against Scare Glow previously was basically his awakening to what he truly was capable of, and this is his return, having more fully stepped into the role he was meant for. SHE, on the other hand, is simply called Evil-Lyn, so when she makes the remark about living up to her own name, he replies that she wasn't BORN evil.

He didn't die though. He used a sealing spell and got sealed in the land of the dead with scareglow. When Evil Lynn brought the dead to the world of the living it broke the seal orco had laid on scareglow, Freeing them both. Orco(Oracle) coming back makes perfect sense and isn't an undo on an meaningful death, as he was still alive only trapped, then freed when scareglow was brought to eternia, thus keeping the meaningfulness of his sacrifice at the same time. 💁‍♂️
