I think you’re probably one of the best examples of how DM players operate lol. We can play aggressive or if need be, we can be patient and know when to strike as well as admitting defeat when we can no longer play. One of the best dm players out there man, props. 🤙🏽

Really appreciate the kind words brother! You're absolutely spot on! We DM players need to be more open to alternative strategies. We can't always be direct and go for the win like other decks.

Definitely been adding more floodgates to my deck. Magician combination has been a good card for me I’ve been experimenting with. It works well to summon DM without using eternal soul leaving that option to bring DM back another time. I’m looking forward to more guides bro. Keep up the great videos and clutch plays 💯💪🏿

Ayy you're the second person to bring up Magician's Combination lately. I've always been reluctant to play it since it takes a bit to set up, but I might start experimenting with it in future! Always appreciate your feedback bro!

@@Ddoge2024 try it out and let me know how it goes bro. The secondary effect of of combination is helpful in some situations. Also how do you feel about Baronne as an extra deck option for DM?

@@SuitGod95 Will definitely keep it mind although, I'm really keen on testing Magia out when it drops! I've tested Barrone before and I think I prefer to save my Ash's for their negates. I would definitely reconsider if we get a DM 3star tuner!

I like the tool box of ED monsters. You are just playing DM Stun/beat down and use your ED to facilitate your recursion.

It's the only omni negate DM has however, it takes a bit of resources to set up so I'm not 100% sold on it being in my main deck.

I watch all your videos! Do you play dark magician in the TCG as well? Also if you had to design 1 dark magician card, what would you create? What do you think the deck needs?

I don't play TCG because it's too expensive haha. That's a really good question and to be honest, I've never really thought about it. I've always just tried my best to be creative and work with what Konami has given us. I would love a searchable Eye Of Timaeus or an Eternal Soul that could search any DM spell/trap and didn't wipe our field when popped.

Starting hand Illusion of Chaos and toy box- illusion search souls, place something else on top of deck (keep illusion) activate toy box- set toy tank and toy soldier from deck- special souls by sending DM to grave- souls discard tank and soldier to draw 2- tank soldier special- soldier effect search goddess the third eye- overlay tank + soldier for battlin' boxer king Dempsey- Dempsey effect search elemental hero blazeman- normal blazeman- blazeman search poly- activate poly using illusion and substituting GwTE for blue eyes ultimate to summon magia. Scuffed ik and goddess and blazeman I guess might be considered bricks otherwise but just a little something I cooked up lol

I can't understand why many of today's dark magician videos play banned cards and bring a few monsters to the battlefield, as if it's not hard for the opponent to take monsters out of the field, I personally if I don't have at least 2 fusion monsters on my field in the first round, I don't consider it a good deck of dark magician

What 2 fusion monsters are you gonna have out in the first round if you’re playing DM?

DM decks are slow. It takes too many resources to get 'boss' monsters out in first turn. Our boss monsters aren't even that great either when compared to the meta so it's not worth bringing them out so soon. Because DM is so slow paced, we rely on cards that slow down our opponent by using floodgates so that we have a chance to set up our boards.

I know u are a fan of dm but you play it wrong if u aim for first turn playing fusion, meta card always have negate and banish and thats painful to see the ultimate wizard in term of atk and def get banished ya?
