Rather than showing what DM can't do, I like to focus on what it can do. I like to show how you can use DM creatively to get out of sticky situations - Also the reason why I don't like showing boring one sided replays. But you make a fair point, I think anyone who plays DM will quickly learn how bricks can hold us back. It's just something we have to live with being DM fans.

Good question bro! I still prefer 41 since it's effect is passive. Also, by forcing your opponent's monsters to defense, they can't attack barrier statue.

Im newer to master duel still in gold rank but loving your content. Im one of those guys that played 20 years ago and just discovered i can play online. So much to learn but you're vids are helpful so thanks. Im curious is there any competitive use for quintet magician or does that only work well in low rank duels? Ive been able to break boards and demolish opponents with it pretty well but as ive moved up playing my basic dm deck was getting rough so Ive been looking for tips. Im gonna try toy box.

Welcome back to the game my bro!! Quintet is a powerful card but finding the extra deck space for it and magicalized fusion is a challenge for me. The cost of banishing 5 different spellcasters is too much for my current playstyle. Having said this, it might make a comeback to my deck when Dragoon gets released.

Just need 2 monster with total level 10. And it gains effect from which attribute synchro material (light or dark. You can gain both effect if you use both light and dark)

Was actually hard making these two work together. Most of the time, its just DM then it turns to sarc when the Shining Sarc spell card comes out and Gandora blows the field. They barely help each other at all. I did find you could use Toy Soldier to search out a Gold Gadget that searches out Gadget Trio. But that's mostly it.

I like him in DM, if having Omega to, well you banishing your oponnent cards with circle and make play with him, Omega and DM, make a greath control presence. But normally we have better options or situational plays with we choice more, like Baronne.

@@UltimateWizard99 With the "Toy Box" support synergy, open the gates for DM use synchros effectively. Mainly with Quem Cartesia engine or like Dodge, using Chaos Mirage Dragon. Give a try.

I have been playing the same build like your deck, dark magician mix toy box and shining sarcophagus. It works wonders, but it's inconsistent sometimes, maybe because too much mix in card and I run like 60 main decks. But I'm glad this deck worked out. Can't wait for more support for shining sarcophagus deck.

@LynnCherry5313 DM decks will always be prone to inconsistency because of the bricks but being able to draw cards and extend really helps - this is why I love the Toybox engine.

Hi mate, can I recommended my combo so you try it? After send toys to the GY and activates its effects search for Mirage Chaos Dragon, then summon it and synchro summon Trishula. It gives you 5 potential banishes

@@Ddoge2024the synchro needs Mirage + Soldier + Souls. So 2 banish from Mirage effect + 3 banish fron Trishula effect. (Soldier search Mirage and Tank effects summon Mirage. Souls is already on the field at that moment)

I've watched and run many engine with DM, and tbh, DM + Bystial + Toy is kinda consistent. But... this deck is just too old and until DM got new support cards, its kinda bad again the meta... What do you think about DM deck? And which version (engine) do u like best? as a big fan , i hope someday DM will rule the meta 😂

I think DM is due for new support. Seeing blue-eyes get some this year is a good sign that it'll be DM's turn soon! I'm really loving the Toybox engine at the moment. It works so well with Magician's Souls for draw power and extending.

Why do you use Magicians' Soul to summon itself rather than a Dark Magician/Girl?

Because u definitely need it on the field to draw card(s). Not summoning DMG/DM, they do nothing except being material to fusion/reborn with Eternal Soul. Also when sending toy engines, and some cards, it definitely worth... U can extend easily. . One more point, u can link Souls to Anima to take control their monster if they put them under Extra Zone.

@Bobodovui exactly this. There are times when you want to use Soul's second effect. For example: - you think they have MaxC so you want to bait them out using Souls effect and pretend to summon DM/DMG

I have tried this deck and it has to be the most refined version of DM, way more consistent, not much bricks. It’s hard to lose when you open with Souls and Toybox. That’s all you need with an interruption or 2. Thanks for this bud, you never disappoint!!!

These were some amazing duels bro. I love how you get down to below 1000 LP then you start cooking everytime lol. The first one was really good lol he couldn’t hang with the dark magician 😂. I’m definitely going to have to add that psychic monster to my extra deck it definitely came in clutch. I think running toy soldier at two helps with the consistency as well. Centurion and snake eyes are just annoying decks to deal with now tenpai dragon is another deck that’s been going crazy lately. You have any tips on ways to counter these decks. Keep up the great videos bro I’m definitely looking forward to what you cook up next.

I love showing you guys exciting duels especially the comebacks! Psychic End Punisher is the ultimate comeback boss monster - bro is basically invincible when you're low on LP. You might have noticed some old school ddoge - I added an old floodgate I used to love 'there can be only one'. I don't have a lot of deck space to fit all the old floodgates, but I find this one in particular is effective against most decks. Tenpai can still be annoying because they play alot of board breakers..

Psychic End Punisher is great when you are low on life points. Ultimate comeback king! Fortune doesn't get used too often, so could be replaced. I left it in there for Mirage and Rod which can be prone to called by the grave. Was so nice to give Tenpai's a taste of their own medicine!
