Have you ever thought of using Raviel, the lord of phantasms, or Obelisk? They both have great tribute effects you can abuse with Lair of darkness. A good plus is that you can search Raviel with Ahrima, and you pump out fiend tokens for tributing with Lair of darkness

Happy to see another DM player running Lair, and glad you are using a different build than mine with less floodgates. Other than for some misplays due to little experience (didn't use Master of Chaos for OTKs, used Maxx C during a chain for Mahad) you're piloting this very well

That would kinda break dm because of it never then being a red draw being a part of the dark magician family now being searched by soul servant and dark magic circle and put back my illusion of chaos it would be a little too good with time thing like lord of heavenly prison or dark magician dragon knight. I've thought about this a lot too

@@ixiahj I know it plays really well with it but thibk about how broken it would be off dmc search, soul servervant search and how it would be protected. Think about ebon illusion magician and how he brings out another fmdark magician from the deck. Like it's super hard to get over it when u have dragon knight out because u cant negate backrow when he is out

Sky strikers running necrovalley? How bizzare. Kagari is your best monster and enables engage loops? You shut off Raye? Not able to use your continuous spell? Some players are so hard up to stun their opponents theyll run counter intuitive cards to do so.

How consistent is this engine in a DM deck? I find myself bricking alot when splashing weird engines in my DM deck.

As long as you max your chances of getting Magicians' Souls the engine is not bricky because they're all Spell/Traps (Ahrima can be traded for Lair, not hopt) that you can trade for other cards in case you don't need them.

You can search Dark Magician with Ahrima, so as long as you have Ahrima and eternal soul or magicians soul you have most things set up.
