This is probably one of my favourite pieces of yours, Lucas King. It's so beautiful, and not at all how you would expect something titled 'Hate' to sound like. Usually when I think of hate, I think of violent, active anger, but I think everyone forgets just how deep and dark it can get, and how it can fester and concentrate over time. Where it carves a path deep into the core of your being and will never leave. I can't honestly imagine it being so deeply engrained, but it's such an awful tragedy to consider that you might hate something so deeply that you cannot mask the unfathomable sadness that comes with knowing that you might never move on. Sure, you all can call me edgy for this and I'd agree - it's very uncharacteristic of me - but it's very rare that music can paint such an extraordinarily accurate picture in my head. It's like every note is another stroke of the brush, and I can't stop watching Lucas paint, and I don't want to either. Please keep making music like this.

It's like it's saying that the opposite of forward isn't backwards but lack of movement. Furthermore, saying that hate is an obsession like love and that's why indifference is the true opposite is like saying that backwards is a directional movement like forward and that's why no movement is the true opposite. You know what I mean? I think backward is the opposite of forward and hate is the opposite of love because when you combine them you get middle ground- lack of movement, indifference.

My family was poor, starving, and in desperation. We once had 6,460 people in our village, but the famine took 325 of them. The war close to our country took 6,144 lives. The population is now 81 and falling. We couldn't feed everyone in the house, despite only having myself and my mother in it. I even saw her soul fading, as if being cored like an apple. So, on my 6th birthday, she sent me on a journey across the desert to wander, to earn love and respect for myself, and promised she would love and honor me forever upon my return. If I really loved her, I would leave- both my home and my feed. I understood. I couldn't blame her since all of us were just as desperate to survive. I still loved her. So I left that day. I knew what this was really about. Or at least, I thought I did. I hadn't seen my hometown, family or a single soul in 8 years. I stole what rags I could to clothe myself as I grew. On some occasions, I begged to caravans, oasis harvesters, other thieves and even fought over it. But mostly, I usually ate some of my cloth, which I sometimes regretted when the freezing nights fell. I learned from others I befriended along the way, and took advice that prolonged my life. When I turned 11, I even stopped shivering and could sleep at night. I grew faster, stronger, more balanced, and more calculative every day. I wished we could all stay together, as a comradery... But the war took 2 of my friends, and the famine took 3. The other 4 moved away to escape the war, and I never saw them again. My very last friend turned on me in stress and desperation. He blamed our losses on me, saying that I deceived them into their deaths and took everything for myself. He was wrong, and I understood why he hurt so much. I told him this, but he denied everything. He tried to kill me one night. We fought, and he failed, but I spared him and only knocked him out before leaving him in front of a holy residence. I still loved him, too, and couldn't blame him. This was 3 years ago. I found my house, but someone else was living there now. I knocked on the door, and a little child opened it. "Hello. Who are you?" He asked. "Hello, little brother (term of respect/friendliness). I'm looking for-" An older woman came running towards the boy, shouting, "What have I told you about answering the door alone?!" "But- but big brother (term of respect/ friendliness) said-" "I don't care what any-" She stared, then recognized me. "No... No, you- you're dead! You died years ago!" "No, I'm here. And I'm real. I completed my journey, and I've come back to you. You promised to love and honor me when I did." "I... didn't think you'd... actually...!" "I understand. You needed me to leave so you could survive off the little food we had, instead of splitting and losing half- or more- of it to me. You didn't expect me to survive, let alone return. I know you were suffering. I don't blame you." "Moma, is that the Changeling-Boy?" The child asked in surprise. "The Unwanted One?" My mother nodded, fixating a sharp, disdainful gaze upon me. "Yes. That's exactly what he is. A Changeling. The boy I wish had never come, the boy I never wanted or needed, the boy that hindered me, and the boy I never had to deal with again." She closed the door. I stood there in shock as I heard them happily playing from inside. _I was wrong._ She wasn't saving herself. She didn't need me to die, or even leave. She just didn't love, want or enjoy any time with me. I was just a needy, selfish bother to her, so much of one that she even described me as a Changeling. An evil, inhuman child with no love, gratitude or empathy that orders its 'parents' like slaves, takes until nothing's left and finds another victim. So she manipulated and abandoned me like trash. I can understand many things. But I can't understand this. So, I can't forget or forgive her- _ever._

it's crazy how much a change of instrument gives a whole new meaning to music the piano version which in my opinion can be translated by the fact that hatred is a mixture of anger and sadness while this version also shows how the pain of the past can turn into a deep hatred bordering on murder well after that is just my point of view (sorry if my English is approximate, I'm French and I translated this comment with google translation ^^" so sorry for my bad English ^^")

"A siren's hate" Written by me. In the dark silence I feel a tempest stir from within. The bitter drops of sorrow and hate flood my crowded mind. Deep within it stirs in my subconscious. The thunder roars over my innermost screams. I smile outwardly. This wretched world knows not the storm I contain behind this pleasant facade. This putrid wrath it boils as I struggle to cover it with the last remanents of love and forgiveness left in my soul. I can't move on. This tempest beckons me. God help me, the sirens of hatred have lured me in. My thoughts dance to their morbid dark songs. My lips tastes the nectar of vengeance from their lips. My heart ceases to beat as I'm swept away with the frigid cold of these waters. farewell my love. I cease to see the sun as this damaged soul of mine loses it's final flickers of light to hate, I die....

Many find comfort in the vastness of a cathedral, they take refuge in the great and wondrous glory of God, sung out by the organ and the choir. There in the cathedral, you are enveloped by faith, and awe, and serene pondering... Now imagine walking into a cathedral and sensing only cold, dark eyes, blazing into your soul, feeling the wrath and pure *hate* coming down on you from the God you once found refuge in...

"No dear child. Hate is not evil, evil is the SOURCE of hatred. We feel hatred because evil exists. And it is a our greatest weapon against that evil. But it is dangerous. Hatred must be controlled, lest it control you. Hate is what gives us the will to suffer through greatest of pains, so that we may destroy the evil that caused it. Do not shun your hatred child, and do not let it cloud your mind. Sharpen it like a blade, hold it tightly in your grasp, and carve the hearts of evil beating from their nests, as you soak the earth with the taste of iron. You cannot tame the demons of man that lay within you, nor can you hope to banish them. But you can chain them, and cage them. And when their hunger claws at your mind, you can choose to let them out of that cage. You can let them rip and tear and feast on the deserving, so long as you never let go of the chain. Remember that you are stronger than your demons, so when the beasts try to tug the chains from your grasp, you yank their necks and remind them of their place.

I've always experienced hatred as something that takes hold of your gut, crushes it and runs electricity through your body, making your limbs itchy and giving you a will, a clear idea of what you want gone. it is a feeling that is capable of changing who you are in the period that you experience it. true hatred, the kind which makes you wish to condemn people is something far more sinister than this piece of music can describe

She was hated for unknown reasons... She was despised for her own line which she never even knew... She was shunned for her own existence... She was tormented, abandoned and betrayed by those she once cared and cherished... One fateful night, it changes everything... When her mind snapped, when her hand bloodied... Surrounded by the mangled corpses of her tormentors... The dark truth now finally dawn on her... Her bloodline called her, Toward the frozen throne of the night, Toward the kingdom forgotten by mist of time, Toward the open arms of her father she now knew, And to the bloody revenge she longed to the cruel world... ...for she...is... *The Daughter of the Night King*

What many enemies of hatred don’t want to face. Is that there are things in this world that can’t be justified. Hatred when honed and focused, is the greatest weapon to defeat such evil.

There was a man named Eddie (almost 100 years old) at a Jewish Museum. After hearing his story of being a survivor during the world wars, he told me one thing. " Promise me, you won't hate. No matter what. " I questioned if he hated Hitler for what he's done. And yet, he shook his head with a large smile on his face. " I do not hate him, but I do not like him. Look at me. He's down there, and I'm up here! " I couldn't believe it. With everything he went through. Two of his friends commited suicide, eaten by dogs when the canines thought they were escaping. But really, they just wanted to leave. Together. Even if it killed them. " And what matters, is that I'm alive with my wife. 75 years of marriage is impressive, yes? Ha! "

A man once beloved and true Betrayed by his god and all he knew He was then shunned by all Atop a chair ready to fall All cause the actions of others & Lies made by his only lover But then came a joyful tone “We all reap, what we have sown” “Please don’t fall, not just yet I am not my brother, no need to fret” He found the fallen who knew betrayal Then with a mind, hurt and unstable He found his lover, with another man Heart to heart & hand in hand His looming spirit approached his wife, “An eye for an eye, a life for a life”

Hatred is also part of a cycle, a cycle within itself. The Cycle of Hatred. You love, you fight, you lose, you hate. You then fight again in the name of hatred, take someone else's love, he hates and kills you. The Vicious Cycle of Hatred never ends. Edit: Also 3:05 gives me a very familiar vibe, very evil one too.

The true opposite of love is not hate but indifference. In my opinion hate is the premeditated spirit of vengeance you will afflict upon those who have committed malice towards you. Hate is a flame that consumes your soul until you care not of the consequences of your hatred. The hate I have from being alienated from my child was not my initial intentions but this world can deal you a bad hand. Hate is an entity that is thrusted upon you without warning or remorse for your life. When a man hates he is trying to exorcise the trust he once had for anything man, woman, politician. Hate is the sword and architect of vengeance. Music has the ability to cause revolution, love, worship and destruction. No words were said on this video but the emotion was felt to whom those it applies to.

The young girl walked out the orphanage into the rain. Blood dripping down her face and knife. The cold drops damped her hair and cloths and she turn back to the open doors. Bodies layed everywhere... The kids that picked on her... The older women who did nothing... Everyone she met here now lay on the ground in a puddle of their own blood. Her blue eyes cold and distant. They brought her to this point... Made her do it... She drops the knife and walks out to the rain knowing she will die soon but does not care. She continues her walk into the dark storm surrounding her until she finally disappears from view of the building...
