Jamie in school they said to do the roots last when doing permanent. I’m always confused which to do. Love all of your cut and color tutorials. ❤😊

Hmmm that's interesting. I definitely would not recommend doing the roots last unless it's a full bleach out, but that's totally different technique. For permanent color, I always do the roots first because you want it to cover the gray.

You don’t need to add a small amount of neutral to cover grays? I always heard that or does it depend on product line or ? Thank you. This is beautiful.

This is a great question! Because she didn't have very many grays, I felt comfortable keeping the formula vibrant. I've never had an issue with Goldwell Topchic not covering, however, if she was 50-75% gray or more, I would probably add in some N to her roots to cover and not have hot roots.
