I think the figure could be Missing Link's protagonist. We don't know their face, and they wear white and blue. While the character is admittedly a customizable character, that still seems to be the base outfit, which contains a blue vest and a white coat and hat, an inverse to the Hooded Figure's blue coat and white robs.

This was after Babynort said his first word: "X-Blade!". Toddlernort is now a thing including Union X models Xehanort, Vanitas and Eraqus. Hopefully in the finale, we'd also get to see Terra and Aqua's Union X models after Ventus in his Birth By Sleep(& onward)appearance.

Looking forward to your stream on August 26th. Fair warning, it's same day the next free-to-play raid for Destiny 2 drops (probably Destiny 1 Kings Fall remake) so the streamers on KZbin are going to be flooding the place with streams. The only upside is that its guaranteed to be redone content from Destiny 1, so it won't be as crazy as a new raid launch. Still, I would not be surprised if the related videos section is flooded with the stuff. Regardless, I'm sticking with your stream. It's been a long wait, and I NEED to know how the convoluted, multi-time period story ends. I loved your recaps and analysis and I'll be here August 26th. Keep up the great work!

I think the old man is almost certainly Odin. Odin’s colours are traditionally blue and gray, and it’s how he’s been depicted in Dark Road as well. He’s also old enough to need a cane by the time Xehanort is still a baby.

I'm actually more pumped for this than KH4. While KH4 doesn't really seem like KH to me and will be dropping most characters I care about and kinda just deleting the aesthetic of KH that I love so much, this story actually means something to me, and still feels like the KH I know.

The only reason the anesthetic in KH4 is different is because of the world Sora was in during the reveal trailer: Quadratum aka the world of "Unreality", to put it simply: you saw the "artstyle" of Quadratum, which is similar to real life. At the end we see Donald and Goofy with the details that they had in KH3 going to the Underworld. Besides, the reveal trailer is just using assests made specifically for trailer purposes, and most definitely will improve once development goes along.

@@JustLou08 I do know that. However I have this sinking feeling that the way Sora looks is going to be the new normal. When (if) he returns to Destiny Islands will he look how he used to, or like a J-Pop star?

@@TopTwom I mean, wouldn't make sense for Sora to look like he hasn't aged after everything that's happened, yeah? I'd like to think the looks are a part of Sora's growth. Wouldn't make sense for him to stay a twink forever, he has to grow up and mature at some point. Maybe the KH3 artstyle will remain when visiting other worlds. Whether those worlds are still Disney worlds or Square Enix worlds or something original like Twilight Town remains to be seen.
