Don't forget that Hrothgar get pet just as often by strangers as Lalafell. And if two Hrothgar meet in a duty, it's common to greet each other with /pet. Also, we sure like to play healers.

Awesome video! A remaster worthy of any Hrothgar fan (me included). Tbh Hrothgar and Viera were done so dirty with the headgear problem (and Hrothgar with the hair customization so a double crotch kick). I still remember when people were defending the developers over the promise they made that the next major patch (which was waiting for Endwalker amid Shadowbringers post-game missions at the time) would fix the headgear for female Viera and male Hrothgar with expectation that their counterparts would release without issue. [checks expansion list] Yeah.

I agree with one point especially - male hrothgars have amazing glamours when it isnt just a random speedo. Somehow their slightly slimmer frame compared to roegadyn makes the clothes just fit nicely onto them.

Hroth player here, I will spend over 5+ minutes petting other Hroths and complimenting their glams as i just use the same glam for all my jobs basically and wallow in sadness that most of the boots in the game look awful on hroths. And yes, I too get distracted by a shiny thing.

As a member of the Hrothgal nation, I just want to correct two things. One, it's 25 minutes to pet a cat... or an alpaca, 30 minutes for a hippo. Two, it's not just shiny rocks, but occasionally large fish, colorful birds, and some very suspscious green leaves.... lol love it tho XD

To be fair, I think the reason with the female Hrothgar being more human was to give the option to slide precariously between Furry and Monster girl, which most MMOs failed to do horrendously, either you have human with accessories (Elves for example), or straight furry bait (Worgen). This is probably why it took so long for them to be made properly, and I'm glad Yoshi P took time to cook, unfortunately the story did not receive the same time in the oven, but at least the combat stands a chance. I'm glad for it, because the monster girl selection if fucking drier than the Sahara desert, holy shit do people not know how to make monster girls. Also all the fellow Hrothgals I've played with have been goated, keep it up homies.

Former liongirl: The idea of a beasty character was appealing & I don't regret testing, but in the end the limitations and some design feature had me use a fantasia. Limitations, lack of hairstyles, hats/helmets not visible, and those thick disproportionate arms cause me the change back! I might re-visit female Hrothgar if the hair & headwear situation is fixed, the arms are kinda fixable with puffy or loose sleeves.

I mean...they're bodies ARE based on humans. Males literally have male Roegadyn frame with a hunch while females look like they might have female Roegadyn frames. They have human based feet as opposed to cat feet. Like, their heads are the only thing different. They just changed the skin texture for the bodies. If you want completely unique bodies different from humanoid look at the Charr from GW2. Hrothgar ain't it. And I love Hrothgar, I changed to femHroth as soon as I could and I haven't changed since. And I used to be a fantasia addict. But man, don't go lying like that.
