@@WhirlingMusic Just write things down after the episode. It's worth it. I had a notebook that I used to make one of those conspiracy connected-by-strings boards of all the characters and their familial plus plot connections. It was an absolute fucking mess, especially when people started fucking their great grandparents and starting paradoxes. There's 4 generations of 4 families to keep track of and the time travel is more convoluted than Primer, so you _absolutely_ need to write things down to understand what's going on. But it's completely worth it. It's the best time travel story ever made imo.

Your more serious videos have been immensely helpful for Westworld, and this is just as much of a headfuck, but it's great how you can see these general ideas at play all in the first episode, the tropes, the foreshadowing, spot on!!!

I do not comment alot on videos but I love this format and I would really like to see more of your impressions on Dark or even an in dept analysis on the main channel of the first two season if you feel inclined to do so. Also a small detail when you talk about the lady with the letter, she is actually the mother of the father of Jonas instead of the mother of his mother. Perhaps you could correct it without having to reupload the video if that's even possible because the detail gets relevant later. Anyway just want to say I love all the videos you make and I'm a fan of this format, you don't always have to do days or weeks of research for a single video. This is very enjoyable! Cheers

The Filthy Frank outtake really threw me off. Anyway having watched all of Dark, I think it was a great show, albeit having a lot of untied knots and things that didn't pay off as much as they could. I can see a connection with the show Devs, when it comes to themes like determinism vs choice and how that might relate to the quantum world which is so incomprehensible and counterintuitive it ends up being a great source of "le magique"
