I had relatives in "the business" and you know what? Anyone who "makes it," like she did, is alleged to have to have done some pretty gruesome things to get there. It is rumored to be the reason so many "stars" turn to drugs or alcohol, or leave the business, or just seem to have lost their marbles. Hollywood is evil, which is why there are so many dark shows like Dark Shadows.

Just because an actor or actress doesn't appear at a fan convention celebrating a TV show, doesn't necessarily mean that he or she feels or believes that he or she is "above the show" better than the show". An actor or actress may have any number of reasons for not wanting to attend a fan convention.

Kate is a beautiful and intelligent woman. I have been a huge fan since I was a little girl. I was born in 1970 so I grew up watching her as Sabrina Duncan on CA and Amanda King on SMK. She was my favorite angel on CA. I loved her romance as Amanda with Scarecrow Lee Stetson on SMK. Years later Lee and Amanda are still my favorite tv couple!

Kate was on the ABC series The Rookies...1971-1975 she played the wife of one of the rookie cops. She played a Nurse at the local hospital

Scott Domenica Kate was even herself during the rookies do you know that her dad died in the producers of the rookies would not let her go to the funeral she quit the show and that basically ended the show from what I’ve been told she was like Pham family comes first

There are a lot of blunders throughout the whole series. But I heard a rumor years ago, that Joan Bennett had a bit of a drinking problem. And, the only way they could get her through the episodes was to let her drink during filming. And, that is why she was alway sitting with a glass of sherry during the whole Victoria the witch saga.
