Indeed, I did not really put it as point but yes Middle Eastern history is highly underrated.

Point 6: Palestine is essentially the "pit-stop" for any invading empire that goes into Africa

This is true, though the other way around, with various Egypt based dynasties trying to expand into Asia( further east into the Middle East going through the area of the Levant) might be even more common.
