I love Ben Nye. Even their Final Seal spray is the truth. I have also used Graftobian palettes and powders in the past. All good qualityvv

Guurrrllll, you have options. They all look beautiful on you. So it just depends on what makeup look you are going for that day, and you can mix and match. Brighten the under eye and the brim of your nose, and use a skin matching or dimmer powder everywhere else. #awesome
@cdahlia772 жыл бұрын
Chestnut is still my favorite of all because while we want things to blend in well, with a brighter, it gives more dimension. That's the purpose of contouring, to highlight certain areas.

Thanks tk your ben nye posts I bought Sienna - even though it didn't work for you, it did for me as our skin tones are different and I loved it. I think I'm going to try Nutmeg as an all over setting powder. I also want to try olive sand or clay for under eye setting. Also subbed as I love the style of your vids.

Melody Rose you like bright undereye
@kaamya9216 жыл бұрын
None of these powders looks bad on you! Looks very smooth on your skin and it isn’t so matte you look Casket Ready, Lol . I’m a Fan! Now I LOVE the powder that brightened your undereye, it is very believable and natural looking. I got some Christmas gift cards and I plan to get the setting powder that Fenty is dropping on January 11th. Fenty gets it right all of the time in my opinion. I’m sure someone disagrees but I’ve purchased a lot of Fenty (could not get the foundation that dropped in 2017 until January 2018 and I would go into Sephora and just stand in the Fenty aisle looking at all the missing dark shades and I would just by the Fenty products that were available) and not one dud in the bunch so until it is proven otherwise, I trust their quality and I will definitely get the setting powder and concealer. But I might go back to Ben Nye in the future to check out the luxury powder.

To be honest I like all three. I think for a natural look I would go with cocoa for around your outline, and nutmeg for the T zone. For glam gal I would go with cocoa on the outline and clay for the T zone. I know I'm light skinned but I have some family and friends that are really dark (we're Caribbean mixed bloods). This here is my reference just in case they question me lol. Proof is everything to me. Thank you for your hard work. This helped us a lot. Now my daughter knows what to go for when looking for a powder.

What is the difference between ebony and dark cocoa?
@ZabiMulwa6 жыл бұрын
I personally think that dark coco tinged a little purple under your under eye. So if I was doing your makeup I would use that as an all over setting powder and use nutmeg as your under eye/highlight. Either way you are beautiful and love your channel!! 🤗🤗🤗

Ever tried Joe Blasco Loose powder , he has some really great powder for dark skin . dark and Ebony , he was a famous make up artist in the movie theaters, he also was pretty good friends with Ben Nye ,The well-known Ben Nye make up Products for the theater 🎭 He was a make up artist too for the movie 🎥 theaters 🎭 for century 21 studio back in the day in 1960 and 1970, he was good friends with Joe Blasco . Joe. setting powders are extraordinary especially the ebony for a deep dark skin, check it out! Of course they have other variety of colors for lighter skin and medium skin. Check them out on KZbin His videos are old. Nina Uses his power too ,she swears by it Cost about $24.00

Nutmeg and dark cocoa look great. I used Ben nye a few years ago, I don’t know if I used it wrongly or if the fact that I sweat soo much it doesn’t get to set well but I found after a while it looked patchy( the foundation itself would be in tact but exactly where I applied the powder would look patchy. What do you suggest in those instances cause honestly they were the only brand that had a shade to match my complexion and i think they look good on other ppl. I just seem to not get a hang of it 🤷🏿♀️. I want it to work cause they are affordable and they have complimentary colours.

This makes me want to go back to Ben Nye! When I came to KZbin to learn makeup application, setting powders had become a huge thing and Ben Nye was the first hyped brand for setting powders. Matter of fact, my daughter has mine, I should get it back! Well, it’s over 5 years old now so maybe not (do powders have expiration dates like foundation? It’s never crossed my mind to toss a setting powder). I like the shade on your forehead, the golden undertone looks more natural on your skin.

Nutmeg I like it gives you a little bit a highlight perfection for your skin, coco is just told the same color your skin ,it’s nice But it doesn’t give you that little bit of highlight that you want , Coco is perfect for Setting your makeup, And Clay It’s OK for those days that you want to just go a little bit brighter, is not bad looking on your face it’s really nice. Nutmeg It’s the jam for you! OK beautiful I only gave you my opinion because you asked, beautiful and Black ✊🏾 you know I’m being funny my son says that to me sometime when he’s being funny🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😅😂
