Mena I used the Deep Dark Blot Powder for my finish coverage, and I used the the regular Dark Blot Powder(which is a little lighter) on my under eye concealer as a extra coverage!

Yea girl I agree the Sephora microsmooth and Kosas powder are bomb. I’ve also been loving the Glowish powder if you want to be dewy. My other favs are Gucci and Dior backstage 😉

I'm Venezuelan, but I live in Argentina so found complexion products for my skin tone is not an easy task 😂 but I used to buy a face powder in my country (my family always bought it and send it to me) that is my exact shade and is Matte. So I always use this after I set and sealed my cream products and my concealer, because it gave me that airbrushed effect and erase any hard lines that I could possibly have 😊 Now I know I'm not wrong 😂 I'm still learning and practicing a lot so I've become better and better 🙆🏾‍♀️ thanks teacher for this tips about the undertones and how to use them 🖤

I haven't used any of these powders, should try to cover girl to see how it works. So far I've been using the Maybelline fit me 360 and it's been good. Never tried anything else outside of that.

I discovered the Sephora microsmooth powder 2-3 yrs ago and it’s replaced my Mac msf dark tan/dark. I also discovered the nyx no filter powder which is a straight dupe for the SM powder and Mac msf just cheaper. I use them at the end of my routine to sweep over my face to blend everything together!! Absolutely beautiful finish!!! I have wanted to check out the Fenty powder!!! I have so many powders and backups can’t justify buying another since I just missed her 20% off sale!!!

My top (in no particular order cause i can’t do that to my girls) - Kosas: filtered, blurrrrred to the gawds - Fenty powder foundation: “corrects” anything I mess up in the bronzing stage/best powder for tinted moisturizers - Sephora micro smooth: great for setting my more matte foundations since it has a radiant finish - No 7: broooo underrated drugstore/suppose to be a Charlotte tillbury dupe. Makes my makeup defff last long

I haven’t used these powders but I use loose setting powder to set my face. I’ve tried Black Radiance foundation powder, Bare Minerals Bare Pro Foundation powder, Maybelline Fit Me, and Superstay unfortunately NONE I felt fully covered like a liquid foundation. So I just use them when I’m correcting or adding to a liquid foundation. And after looking at some of my pressed powders they do look light in the pan but applies darker which can be confusing🤷🏾‍♀️ Great video and good tips💜 PS: The Sephora microsmooth is on my short list to try!

I have not used any of these powders and I know why 😝😝 I'm oily, I mean real oily. So I'm using dermabllend. Laura Mercier & All nighter by UD, sometimes Maybelline. It took forever but I FINALLY found my shade in the Sephora Microsmooth powder - however, I think it actually OXIDIZES on me and makes me darker. Now, I've heard of LIQUID foundations oxidizing, but a POWDER??? Yup, this one does just that. So, although I am thrilled I finally found this powder, I use it SPARINGLY because of how it turns on my skin. Mind you, it's not God-Awful, but I have to wear it on the SUMMERIEST of days so I wind up looking like I'm more DEEP TANNED than anything else! LOL!

What about powders to set under eye concealers? I'm extremely oily everywhere else on my face except the under eye area. When I put my concealer on it look good. But when I try to set it with powder or suck the life out of my eyes making my undereyes appear extremely dry. I do not bake at all... I just take a tad bit of powder with a small fluffy brush to set.. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

I’m no expert in makeup but have you tried using some pressed powders for your under eyes. The kosas one in a lighter shade, or the lys beauty. I use the LYS beauty powder on my under eyes it’s really blurring. Or any radiant/ light reflecting type of powder

I have very dry skin. I use an eye serum under my eyes before applying concealer then set with a little powder.

Ooh! The powder foundation provides full coverage, which I love. So, if you sue use as a touch up powder, it will add coverage to the areas you’re touching up. This could be problematic, if it ends up looking cakey. I never use a colored powder to touch up. In fact, k only blot off oil, as a “touch up.” I only use a colored powder, if my mask has wiped off some of the makeup.

I'm might try the LYS powder for touch-ups instead :) I usually only do a skin tint, or thin any foundation I have with moisturizer, as I can't' carry a full look like you! But I noticed that using a powder after I blot can keep me looking polished a little longer, even if I don't have a perfect base. I just haven't found a powder I like yet, the Fenty Invisimatte made me look a bit grey. So I've been doing my research lol. Thanks so much for your help xx

Yes, I definitely use Sephora Micro smooth as well as MAC mineralize powder. I also use loreal powder foundation as a face powder, kinda a dupe for fenty pro filter foundation. I use both by itself as well as over medium coverage foundations. Never used anything by one size, but I've heard good things. I now figure out how to make things work, because of you. I used to just start over.

Oh yea! So I use it to finish off the look. To me, it being everything together, evens out the highlight and contour. Adds coverage and overall smoothness. I don’t do my face without that step. Lots of folks don’t do it, but I swear by it!

Ooh, then it's too light for you. I do find that some of these setting powders should be dusted on lightly, while others can be applied with a damp sponge w/o issue. It's trial and errror, hence why I stopped using a sponge for my setting powder. I've since gone back, but it's really tricky. To be safe, try a brush, tap in the product, dust off the excess and then apply that way. I do NOT bake and haven't done that in YEARSSSSSS...it always goes wrong for me!
