I don't understand how the infinite boss souls glitch works but its goddamn useful

The game tries to use the item that it thinks you selected (the Darksign), but instead ends up using the boss soul. It then tries to subtract the item used from your inventory, but since it thinks you used the Darksign, which can never be used up, so the boss soul doesn't get used up.

lol eating the one soul that matters,I did the exact same thing in my platinum run so I had to do 3.5 walkthroughs as well ^ ^ Your luck with item drops sometimes though!Channeler's trident in 5 minutes,it takes some people a whole day! I wonder if you will go for the ghost blade :P People told me I needed that and that it was hell to get it so I left it till last,good thing I did cause didn't need it lol

Honestly, it might be easier to go to DLC and kill the Sanctuary Guardian to get access to the Blue Slab in the Royal Wood than try to get that slab over the invisible pathway in the Crystal Caves.

I have to admit that platinuming this game was a massive goal for myself and a friend, after that we did a challenge run involving no leveling. But watching lobos has definitely made me feel like a complete amateur.

Can someone explain to me the infinite boss soul glitch he is using? seems quite easy. I finished the game and I would need a easy way to get souls on a second playthrough for the all spells achievement

It's called duping, just google it, easy explanation on the wiki. Parry or roll or something and use the item at the same time, you queue it, then use Estus or Darksign and you get the effect of the queued item.

Little late, but I personally find it way easier with a mid roll over a fat roll, you don't have to time the use item button press, just hit it the instant you roll.

Tsuike Novaus i am two years late, but since there is no way to gauge a 100% run in FFX they are called nemisis% runs. if you wanted to find one search that.

Ya know, it'd be pretty awesome if DkS was a new free for gold game. In fact, judging by how they are doing it so far, I'd imagine that either this month, or the month before DkS 3 to build hype it will be.
