Bunch of players with a lot of time, run around looking for exploits, and they share with others when they find one. At least that's how I think it works. This is now an older game, so it's not suprising that exploits have been found, but in newer released games, it could take a while.

Usually a ridiculous amount of trial and error from an extremely dedicated community. Sometimes depending on if different games use the same engine for example the Half life games, certain glitches and exploits may work in multiple different titles.

Well my first dks2 run was in 11 hours because it was so freaking easy compared to dks1. I played offline so i could see my "global deaths" (personal death count) and after killing nashandra it was on 17. In my opinion dks2 is the easiest soyls ever, but well, its not really that bad
