Took me 2 days. I used a Halberd. The areas are amazing. I didn't die to a single boss except the girl from the poison area. And that's because I got vaporized by the baby things. Game felt like a soulsgame unlike ds3 and darksouls 4(elden ring)

You can do that with any boss that uses a Cutscene, because the scene hasn’t triggered, the AI is never told to activate, if you approached the fog door the AI would activate after the cutscene played

@@sorensouthard927 incorrect, basically when you warp, the game save which Archstone you left, and then sets your respawn the the one you arrived at, however. Before 1.4 patch, it took a bit to actually make the change. So you could leave a 4th Archstone from any world, have Archstone 4 saved, then prevent the game from placing the spawn at arrival stone by force quitting, this saved the spawn point for Archstone 4, however, the game is unable to warp you between worlds in a respawn, so it just places you at Archstone 4 for whatever world you died in

My personal guess for why the wrong warp glitch exists is that Bluepoint actually spent most of development working with old gen load times(hence why they revamped the old loading screens that you can see in the credits iirc) so info about the player's location does not load as to account for this discrepancy so you can force quit and mess up the game while it retrieves player data

I ran into that warp bug accidentally! A phantom invaded and killed me right after starting ng+ and the game spawned me back into the old king allant boss room. King allant was there and I killed him but no AI was active and he was just standing there.

I think it's something to do with closing the game just as the area loads in and reopening it. I dunno how it works but that's all I have to go on.

There is carryover from a previous character that allows you to set the 2nd archstone on a fresh file.

These are called glitch warps, as I understood it, if you have another character that has already been through all the rest spawns as when you play in another save slot (hence another character or a NG+), once you die in certain parts you will then be warped to the section you want to go; as for my knowledge I do not clearly understand how the people abused it in a way that you control where exactly you want to respawn. If you would like to know more I believe distortion had already explain this in a comment section Edit: So I went to look over and Distortion also has a video explaining the wrong warping glitch kzbin.info/www/bejne/nH6nk6Sbr86krsk I also forgot to mention thats is important to close the game in its enterity so that this glitch can properly work

He’s just editing it so that way the run is more digestible, he wouldn’t want you to have to watch him go through each level. Think of it like the fight between Jackie chun and krillin in the original dragon ball where they moved so fast the audience couldn’t keep up. He’s just not bothering to go back afterward and explain it, but for a trained eye it just looks like sped up northernlion gameplay.... hopefully I cleared this up for you :)

It's called the wrong warp glitch if I'm not mistaken, basically the game doesn't register the archstone immediatly after you teleport, so if you teleport from example from 2-4 to 5-1 and quit out immediately after the loading is over, it doesn't register the archstone so it will teleport you to 5-4 after you die, even if you haven't unlocked it yet. To teleport to the false king throne, you need to warp from 4-4, because that's treated as 4-5 for some reason.

No. But if you have the disc version, you can delete the game from your storage. Disable auto updates on the ps5, and turn off the internet. And re install the game, and it'll install without the patch. So, it works if you do this.

1760 was the final damage amount registered on the Armored Spider, if you rewind to 5:10 For whatever reason, the game treats rolling into bosses as a 'hit' and it flashes the last amount registered - it just doesn't actually do any damage
