Bows have always been insanely broken, you can cheese the entire games with 2/3 of the mobs never even reaching you. Especially in DS1 where you can literally shoot enemies past their aggro range and they won't react, even some bosses like Gwyndolin. Shrine of Amana hard? Nah just point and click ezpz.

I always look forward to Shrine of Amana because if you take it slow it's a very atmospheric and fun stage. When I did my 100% achievement runs, it was my most hated area - it's the most unsuited to being rushed. Between the water, mages, and constantly aggroing crawlers something will always screw you over.
