Let me tell you. I was about to pull my hair out trying to fight her in the poison pit and had a near nervous breakdown after figuring out the stupid method for draining that damn pit. If it were not for Jester, I most certainly would have died that go 'round.

Thanks, that poison pit thing was the real problem. Didn't know you can burn the windmill. Is that summon NPC there anyway, or do you have to meet the actual NPC 1st?

I wish I knew you could summon a phantom and drain the room of poison... I had to constantly use life gems so I didn't die from being poisoned.

I just burned the windmill, then took her on solo with my Gyrm Axe Level 9. Dodging and rolling, sometimes blocking, but it took me only about two minutes to cut her down completely with that mammoth. And that was with my HP halved due to Hollowing, too.

ngl i actually beat the boss without knowing that you COULD actually clear the boss room so its not a pool of poison with just 9 estus flask and 5 radiant lifegem sacrificed

The sense of achievement and satisfaction comes from knowing that somewhere, somehow, Jester is reminding everyone that he is the actual chosen undead and is just kind of enough to let us do the journey for him.

I never summon on boss fights. I guess I just get more of a sense of satisfaction if I beat the boss myself. It can also be very frustrating at times. LOL

This video made me mad on so many levels! I was telling him to roll, yet he had a fat roll with too much gear. 2nd he had the shittiest weapon ever! 35 damage, and 3rd put your damn shield down to regen your stamina faster.. if it was not for that summon you would of been done a long time ago!

I've soloed every boss so far as melee. I have also made a point of doing it at 50% health. Right now I have 24 human effigies and have only used one and plan on using none till game end end end. That's how you beat a boss like a man at 50% health.

Do you know what it's like to play this game as a sorcerer? Imagine having your sorceries nerfed so badly that using them is more useless and dangerous than charging with a sword while having no strength, no stamina, no vitality, and no armor. You spend 95% of the game using weapons your character sucks at because your sorceries were nerfed to the ground. It's like the developers want everyone to play as a warrior or a knight. I killed this vermin with a sorcerer build without any help. Twice. In the poison pool. I had to charge her with my flame sword, because sorceries are USELESS, even when you have 60 int. No, seriously. Sorcerers are meant to be glass cannons; we exchange everything, *everything*, from vitality to armor, for intelligence. Such glass cannons require enough power to kill bosses in 4 to 5 shots, because they have no defense or physical capabilities, and virtually anything can one-shot you. When you force sorcerers to fight like melee characters regardless of their high intelligence, there's simply no point in having a "sorcerer" class anymore. You're better off playing as a true warrior build. To top it all off, sorceries are *extremely easy* to avoid in PVP, so playing as a sorcerer is like playing DS2 on hardcore. DS2 was obviously designed around _mainstream_ strength and stamina builds, and forces virtually any class to play as a melee character. I'm still using a sorcerer simply because I'm already too far into the game to go back(I know I could use a soul vessel, but I still chose a sorcerer). The game is far too unbalanced for sorcerers.
