Mages are the most fun classes in the world imo. I mainly tank since i suck at being a mage in pvp but either way its fun.

The thing is mages have to level up intelligence for their attacks to be stronger, you guys must think we mages have it easy but we have trouble with bosses ourselves.

They didnt know.. My powerful attacks came from a blondie giant. They are actually fighting a giant, not me! Woot!

I'm playing Knight.. and this boss is impossible to beat... his first attack when i get close is always a hit takes more then 50% of my HP when i try to stay close to his legs he just stamps on me no matter how i run he hits me everytime like he got some cind of aimbot. i did try poison arrows but he just attacks me from long range... or i get killed by those fireballs..

Try to stay close to his feet, and avoid getting stomped as much as possible. He's pretty similar to the Last Giant in the sense that if you manage to keep close at all times without getting stomped, he's fucked.

This boss is actually the only boss I find unfair in a sense that it's the game itself that is badly designed for this boss. The boss is too big, and the area is too small, you cannot see his telegraphs for what kind of attacks or even what kind of attacks that hits or not. I tried him around 5 times before I got frustrated over how infuriating the camera is in this fight if you go melee. The camera got stuck inside the walls 3 times in a row when fighting him resulting in my death. This is where it is not your fault for dying but just the game giving you a good old NES style bullshit move.

Not going to tell you to "git gud" because I'm not that "gud" myself (plus, I know the comment is old as fuck), but I actually always fought him melee style and never had a problem with it. His sword doesn't reach you that easy if you stay on his feet, plus the telegraphing of his feet-stomping attack is pretty obvious. I don't remember the camera fucking up in this fight in particular, but if you had trouble you could've tried going without lock-on.

I think the arena might be the problem. When you face him as the Last Giant early on in the game, his attack patterns are pretty similar yet he's piss-easy there. When you face him as the Giant Lord it feels like the space you have to maneuver in is more limited.

I'm gonna sub just so I can laugh at how bad you are at darksouls lmao!!! Firstly just run straight past everything roll to the right after te last giant, once the head rolls by head towards giant lord and dodge left or right to avoid his ranged atk, get between his legs and the rest is history, at ng+9 I'm hitting him for over 1800 damage/ LB with RIT buffed
