An in depth look at proper inventory management for maximum efficiency in pvp. Different builds with have different optimized inventories of course this is just one of many examples.
The inspiration for the video was given to me while watching Jeenine explain his inventory on his stream, he also created his own inventory tutorial for his strength build

How about a guide on backstabbing with different weapons and how your opponent's weapon and latency effects it? Maybe you could also talk about when running behind someone is better or worse than rolling or reverse rolling? Also a tutorial on reverse rolling would be cool

Ideas on things to cover: -Weight management is something I see a lot of newer players still struggling with. They don't understand the 3 weight thresholds. (30%, 70%,100%) Some people don't even realize there are more than 2. -Also, while invading perhaps you can demonstrate how to locate the host using the enemies in the level. Even some of my experienced friends don't fully understand how to read the level to find someone. -Balancing multiple opponents. As an invader you are often facing a host with one or more phantoms. Choosing and swapping to the right weapons is key to victory. As well as luring and choosing when and where to fight. -Level ranges/weapon levels and their effect on who you can invade. As well as where to find people around your range if you aren't at meta level. -How spellbuff effects caster classes and what items, weapon arts, and spells can be combined to maximize damage. -How deal with a pesky, spamming caster with or without his friends. -Parry/backstab guide -Split weapon damage, and why it hurts your overall damage. That's all I have right now. I'm sure I could think of more, but this is a ton already. I had to learn all this myself from friends and through research and testing. Having someone who compiles all of this into a series of video guides would have been enormously helpful and will do a lot for the community. Thanks for being a Bro. Edit: forgot a word

One thing (completely unrelated to the inventory) I like to do is, when I have an offhand Caestus for parrying, to hide it with armor. Certain gloves work well in disguising the active Caestus mostly and to hide the other Caestus on your belt a good way to hide it is any armor with a cape or other torso cloth physics. It's mostly a min-maxing kinda mindset to do this since most players don't pay attention to that kind of visual detail but some people do.

Great video! I've been following your channel for over 2 years now and picked some of these tricks from you, almost all of my builds have 5 dedicated weapon sloths for riposte ultras. And 5 cat rings in my inventory have saved my life so many times after I started to hard swap them. I kinda hope that Elden Ring would allow you to organize inventory by favorites and freely let you place items where you want, that would remove the need to have extra weapons for inventory planning.

Thanks for this Chase. One of the stupid ways I die is ring swapping or weapon swapping during a fight. Well laid out inventory makes this doable without taking unnecessary damage. One good thing to cover here that I think you missed is that you can claw your move joystick so that you're walking while inventory swapping which just makes you a little less likely to get rushed.

Oh boi, THIS is fucking awesome. I started improving in DS3 PvP thanks to your streams and vids, but lately I felt like I was missing some useful tools and tricks in order to be more efficient. So I started watching Goof's guides about pivot and roll backstabs, I spent many hours on soulsplanner to optimize my builds, I learnt how to reverse roll, how to make ravioli backsteps, how to estus cancel as well, I watched the DS3 Parry Guide video again and again, I checked reddit posts to make sure I knew what was parriable and what wasn't ... But then it's all about making use of all this theory. And of course, this isn't that easy at all. Knowing exactly when to parry against 3 men gank squads, when to backstep or go for backstabs, what to use in every situation, is for sure solid proof of a mastered PvP technique, and I really think a player who has such experience will almost always make the best decisions that will lead him to victory. So seeing you elaborate a PvP guide series makes me so damn happy. This first episode was really interesting, and I can't wait for you to teach us your best tips and tricks about critical attacks, spacing and timings. Keep up my dude !
