You should go back to where the mob is that the giant shoots at, there's an item in that area you haven't found, and it's a rather big one.

Hi there thanks for the video! Just a few advice if you don't mind. - At the place where the giant is shooting at there's still an item you missed and it's an important one, not just rubbish. You can bring it to a nice old lady in Firelink shrine. - The frosty sword is among the longest longswords in the game. It is one of the few weapons that has frost buildup. Frostbite in this game is really good. It does mostly percentage based damage on proc and a frostbitten enemy takes more damage. - Since in this game you can only level weapons to +10 (and +5 for special and boss weapons) each weapon level is much more significant compared to Elden Ring. - You got a sharp gem. Very soon you'll get and item that allows you to infuse your weapons with it. It increases dex scaling. - Explore a bit more on the roofs after the double bookworms (after the fire demon, where you found the Flynn ring) you might find a path to a great item. - You got the Transposing Kiln from the balled tree. You can give it to a certaing midget on a throne in Firelink to get good stuff.

You missed a stamina ring, where the demon and onion knight was, when you reach the roof top look to jump down to a near by tower. Then drop down inside... carefully, ring is under breakable boxes.

When you cant beat a boss, switch to the Winblades, i mean Twinblades.

Bonfire level just means how strong your estus is, it starts at bonfire level 1 when ur estus is +0. Every bone shard you burn at your bonfire upgrades it, allowing you to gain more health with every heal

Infuse the winblades with sharp. Weapon art(weapon skill) L1 - L2 - R2 When you hear some (thud thud) after this combo you are doing it correctly. Now this weapon art is not suitable for every boss, because some boss are able to dodge attacks so keep that inmind Forgot the name of the rings: One ring for boosting stamina recovery. One ring for boosting attack when attack persists (good for the winblades because you want to spin every time) Milkring something to boost the dexerity and other ring for boost for invisibility of rolls. The elevator is two levels. When Siegmeier went up in the beginning the lower level was on your height and the other one by the giant. Thus you went down. You can change this position by stepping on the plate and then going of the elevator. This is also useful if a boss has a elevator in its runback. When going to the boss just send it back down so you wont have to call it if you die.

Winblades are good for bosses, but for normal mob lothric knight greatsword is king, it has hyper armor, long reach and you can poke with it, and weapon art sends foes flying which sets up a guaranteed charged r2

Undead bone shards? Didn't you read the item description? Increase amount of HP an estus flask can heal. As for the giant's greatarrows, he will still fire at you but with the item he gives to you in friendship in your inventory, the arrows' impacts will not affect you in any way whatsoever. For all intents and purposes, you are invulnerable to them. The white branches (including the one given by the giant) are consumables and has the same affect as the Chameleon sorcery but if you need to use them, check the item description to make sure that you do not use the one given by the giant accidentally. The lift can go up and down but it has 2 platforms. Forgot to mention this earlier. Sorry. It is like a minor puzzle. If it goes down, go up again and then trigger the lift by quickly running or rolling across it so that the platform goes down revealing another platform coming down from the top. Then you take that platform. Oh wait, you made it to the top. Very good. So if you want to go down instead of up, do the reverse.

infuse your blade with fire so that you can do fire damage, but for that you have to find a certain type of coal, which is in the next region, if you throw an alluring skull they wont attact the enemy to you but the enemy will follow the skull or region where ever you throw it, save it for a boss further in the game

That frost enemy at the bottom of the elevator, their attacks can easily be straffed. Try running to the side whenever they attack

Where you fought the demon with Onion Bro, there are rooftops you can jump onto for more loot. Don’t forget, you can jump and kick in this game. There’s also another NPC at Firelink Shrine, at the very top level inside. Plus, there's an area at the shrine itself you haven't explored yet. Where you fight the twin blades lady and the old hag, hit the wall behind her seat for an illusionary passage. FYI, you’re probably hollow 🤭. That altar you found at the boss area is for Mad Phantom invaders. You invade players under that covenant to get vertebrae for rewards. Each covenant offers its own loot, with Sun Bros being the easiest for rewards.

When you get the Farron Ashes, you can slap a Sharp Gem into the Uchi and Winblades to make it full Dex Scaling. Heavy Gem does the same but for Strength weapons. That + upgrade = This is when the Fun begins.

The Caged Hollows (those things on cages that only show their arms and legs) are weak to piercing attacks, they get one shot.

Tip for those caged monsters,use pierce damage like a spear they are stupid resistant to slash damage

Also, just like in elden ring, when you use an ash of war, try following up with other inputs. Your spin slash there is only getting it's first 2 hits. Hitting r2 after gives you like 6 more.

if you kill the dancer (its a boss we do to speed run the game) anyways u can use her weapons, it's legit awesome and the watcher of the abyss has a great weapon with a great ability, I notice you're not using weapon abilities.. i forgot the hotkey for them, but I'm sure there was abilities for each weapon

I would recommend going back up to the roof where you fought those two fat ladies. There’s a jump you can make there to a tower that will gift you a shield that just wearing it, even on your back, boosts stamina recovery. The Grass Crest Shield, I think it would suit your needs

Actually you forgot to visit a place where you can talk to an npc. You see the bridge above the deep breach ? You can go down the breach somewhere, by jumping if you have enough health or by another place but I don’t recall where, sorry. Maybe it’s with a key you can buy to open the door inside the rat’s cave.

I’ve never used the twinblades in all my years of playing, didn’t know they were that good, always did the axe (pyromancer), then katana for early/mid game

Something I did was grind lothric knights for a while to get good at beat them, more importantly, their armour is the best for a long while

Keep an eye out for the little crystal lizards. A sharp gem for dex players and upgrade mats are very important. Also you might not know this unless you played all the Dark Souls games but circling behind enemies to attack them is almost always a good idea.

Tip,sharp infuse the twinblades get dex to 40 then level intelligence/ faith enough for the flame buff you will get later on = stupid damage

An advice is to use the ember as an extra estus flask when you are dying and ran out of estus flask. It will recover your health to full. Only downside is that the animation plays a little slower, so you have to be careful on where you use it in a boss fight.

consumables in dark souls games are useful but not as prevalent as in elden ring also the alluring skull is very useful because it's bait you throw to distract enemies for a short time allowing you to flee like a coward or snag an item and run (doesn't work on every enemy but most) just make sure you throw it away from where your trying to flee to

you should go back to firelink shrine and talk to the guy on the throne, you received an item after killing the tree boss that shall allow you to exchange boss souls for their weapon or ring or shite.

Armor stats are negligible in 95% of scenarios so I'd recommend just using the sets you like

For lvl up stats: -to escape oneshots 27 Vigor early game -> 39 in endgame are must. -40 Dex is stopping point, or 40 Str for heavy weapons. Fire/Dark requires 30Int+30Faith. -Vitality for max weight is useless. -Endurance gives only Max stamina. Stamina regeneration and running speed same flat 45 per second if you 69.9% of equip load. Grass shield give 4(!) stamina per second... useless, it tricks you to use bad "shield" For weapons - Lothric knights can drop their Straightswords, amazing Dex weapon. Lucerne is good too. Plus you can swap scaling of most weapons from Str to Dex by infusion, damage difference will be not that big. Or straight respec stats later. 500 souls to Granny per Resin to buff weapon with fire. Why not. -Holy Chime was weaponskill in left hand - slowly regenerate your health over hime for a bit of Mana. Cancels if unequipped, but dex weapons are better in onehand anyway. And your manabar is full. -Lock-on is trap. Just run around for backstabs/damage. -With enough damage to Head - you can stagger & riposte bosses (like when Wordt charges his frostbreath) -Twinblades... Bosses give window for 1 swing of Claymore or 4 twinblade hits for same time/stamina cost/same damage per hit... but X4 in case of winblades. Weaponbuffs will multiply that. With right Ring setup they do 5x damade of normal weapons, Boses have 2x HP on max Ng+7, and bosses already have small Hp bar in this game for fast battles. Delete half of boss Hp bar in 1st window + finish in middle of 2nd phase transformation animation. Why this is not fixed? Twinblades has short reach in PvP. Thats all. Game is greedy for any damage from Rings & Buffs, and Pontiff/WolfSword works best - *Ta-da-da* only with paired weapons. More buffs to already broken. Disgusting. Try Sellswords + fire Resin for lulz))))

You can be invaded by NPCs at anytime. Embers allow for PVP invasions. I doubt the online community is thriving though. It was dying when I played this the first time in like 2019.

Dude finds a Elden Ring enemy in Dark Souls 3 combat, suggests to run past it. In Elden Ring, you're always free to avoid unwanted combat. You only engage in what you decide to engage with. Unlike this game, where that unwanted combat is the only way to travel. Even when it's backtracking. All the things that make Elden Ring easier, people call 'quality of life' when all it does is remove the heart of what makes this one challenging. Imagine if Elden Ring had the nerve to force you into combat you didn't want to do but had to overcome to go to the next area.

For being a Dex player, he sure plays like a tank. He literally stands there and takes all these hits for no reason. No wonder he is having a hard time. Needs to change up his build to match his play style and it will be much less challenging.

DS3 players will shit on your for anything that isn't their, "meta" build. Play the way that you want too. Also, the people saying that the dual swords are op, he just picked up the irithyl straight sword...
