+Brambo Don't worry mate, this game will stay relevant for a few years for sure, with DLC's already being confirmed. Perhaps in the future you will play it with a better pc :)

this myth of "never unfair" needs to stop. When you routinely are hit by eneimes even though you blatantly roll or move well away from their strike zone and get hit for mere technical timing reasons, that's a little unfair. In a game with visuals I've noticed visually...it dosen't matter many times. Arbitrary timing non-related to any visual correlation. You either roll when the developers program you to or you get hit. The unfair aspect is we are supposed to be immersed in this world, knowing how fast our character moves and attacks, and how fast enemies attacks are but yet how many have been hit by BS attacks behind bosses and enemies even though instinctively we felt very correct in positioning ourselves in that spot? Everyone has because this game does not reward you making moves based upon your instincts which make the most sense. It toys with those instincts, it twists and beats you over the head with your own instincts. You think you should do one thing and they beat you down with that thought. The visuals do no correlate to the reality of how the mechanics of the fights work. In fact the visuals are deceptive to the reality of it and in truth the visuals are a distration to the simple timing gameplay mechanices and that is what makes first time encounters unfair. There's no basis to know from visual observance. You just have to learn the timing as simple as that. Take Aldrich for example. His sword sweep attack. Don't act like you could in any way reasonably *know* just from looking at that attack when to roll. Nobody hardly does. You just have to learn through trial and error when exactly rolling is the correct time to do so because lord knows the visual animations don't correlate AT ALL to damage. You can be to his side. Under the sword or wherever...if you don't roll at the right time you get hit. Animation and actual relative placement of characters be dammed in this game.

Don't forget to read item descriptions! pay attention to the music in each boss fight, it is a clue to his lore. There is alwas an ambush behind a dark doorway/blind bend in the road.

+SirDutchie (SirDutchie) I mispoke, I meant that the music fits their lore. The Abyss watcher music is melancholy and tragic, Saint Aldritch is foreboding and grating etc... This game was put together very carefully.

+Wolly Ram Ah yes, quite impressive they've made the music in such a way that it's both fitting with the lore and super intense when actually fighting
