Common trick in dark souls speedruns known as move-swap. Involves two-handing the bow in your left hand and quickly switching to the dragon tooth during an animation (i.e. ladder get-up or jump). It makes the game think you're two handing the dragon tooth but it still gives you the moveset of the right-hand weapon.

Quiting out resets the enemies and hazards of an area, you can use it to run past enemies and make it so they stop chasing. Among other things.

@@free_lag2177 I don’t know, i just really enjoy it! The game feels incredibly grounded, yet still fast and agile. The main problem i have with ds3 is how floaty and light it feels; nothing feels heavy. Not to mention the magic system is so much better than a mana bar. I hate having a mana bar, a set amount of times to cast a spell per bonfire is a much better way of doing it, in my opinion. I, just like you, thought ds2 was terrible when i first played it. I returned to it later, gave it my time and realised it’s actually really good! I highly recommend you give it another chance, without going in with the mindset of it being a bad game. It deserves a lot more credit that it gets

Its a glitch, not a cheat. The categorie allows it, so its used. It helps, doesnt make it piss easy and it still takes incredible skill for this run.

I saw your hitless run and you go to the undead merchant in upper undead for a reinforced club then you boned home and went to the fire closest to halberd bk turned back and got the red ring and boned again . Then you jumped down the nearby elevator shaft twice to activate the red ring and fought the bk . Why didn't you just use the bandit knife that you started with if the plan was to backstab him ? You got the halberd the first try answering the question is it better to be lucky or good ? It's better to be both duh . I didn't watch the whole thing maybe you had other plans for it and that is the probable answer . My theory is you went from the bk to darkroot and needed it to kill the big green rock guys because they dont handle strike damage well at all ...but the wolf ring is meaningless in a no hit so you wanted souls .
