See, your mistake was using the Spear spells from range. They get an extra 50% damage bonus if you use them as a melee weapon and slam the enemy in the nose with them. It’s even stated as a hint in the Lightning stake miracle that using the spears as spears instead of javelins is way more effective.

You can definitely see the inspiration on incantations for elden ring I’m also getting dark souls 3 soon so I thought to see what the game had to offer on magic the dark magic and miracles look so dope can’t wait to play

I’m surprised there isn’t a Vow of Silence equivalent in Elden Ring, it would make Mages have to rely on using a weapon instead

There sort of is, there is a incantation that dispels any buffs that the enemy or yourself has applied in elden ring I forget what it’s called tho

It's kind of a shame how they pretty much doubled charge up time for some of the offensive miracles when compared to dark souls 2, which is already way more charge up time than in dark souls 1.

fun fact: blessed weapon gives you regeneration, just like infusing your weapon with a divine gem. another fun fact: astora's greatsword works REALLY well with the divine gem (I'm talking S faith scaling at around +4 or +6)

Hey, i did a Lone Paladin build once, Rings: Ring of the Sun's First Born Morne's Ring Lightning Clutch Ring Ring of Favor Weapon: Sunlight Straight Sword Sunlight Talisman Golden Falcon Shield (For extra SWAG) Armor: Fallen Knight Set Spells: Lightning Arrow(DLC) Lightning Blade Lightning Stake Sunlight Spear Wrath of the Gods I dont remember my stats tho. All i remember is having a decently big amount of health, like 25/25 dex and str, and a lot of Faith.

From previous reply: I believe that is the Court Sorcerer Robe (Found from a corpse in the Profaned Capital near the sleeping Hand Ogre (Monstrosity of Sin) that's by itself on the second floor of the church) and The hood part is most likely Assassins Hood ( This is sold by Greirat for 1500 souls. After rescuing him from his cell in High Wall of Lothric and giving him Loretta's Bone)
