I had a dream that there was a 5th ending for Dark Souls III. Before the player links the flame or whatever, the kiln of the first flame would crumble, leaving the player to run back to firelink shrine. The player would then enter the shrine and be faced with the five lords of cinder, but instead as tall hollows instead of their boss form. Once the player bested these hollows, the shrine's floor would give out and reveal a firey pit of hell, that the player woiuld eventually fall into. I'm not sure what the implications of this ending would have been, but I imagine something like the usurpation of fire, allowing the age of man to rise due to your sacrifice.

i used to skip credits in the past 3 years. i did great injustice to this song. it is, hands down, the best song in all of souls series after gwyn's imo.

Good memories of these games i finished Elden ring a few weeks after it released and I’ve just sadly lost all my motivation to play these games… Goodbye Dark Souls…
