Dark Souls Part 26 Prince lothric and Lorian Boss fight We are nearing the end :)

Boss fight and a bit of exploration hopefully we can wrap this series up soon and have a bit of fun before DLC and new title releases coming up.

Unbelieveable. After that first try I figured you'd be raging on that for awhile but you really nailed it. FYI, there was a final elevator shortcut just before the boss so you could go straight to the boss. And you should go back and hit it even though you've killed the boss because it's a double elevator and at the very bottom is a titanite slab, which are hard to come by. As for the impressive damage you're getting out of your sword, that's kind of how Dark Souls games are constructed. Most games give you much better armor and weapons as you progress, but Dark Souls games are carefully engineered so that with the proper skill and planning, you can beat the game with virtually any weapon. That's how people pull off SL1's and such, but for a new player trying to beat the game with a starting weapon is damn impressive.

The long sword is a good weapon, then again straight swords are really good in this game.
