Sorcery is lovely. You have so many options. And, it technically uses the exponential power-rate curve of D&D where Fighters start strong, Mages start weak - but then the shift happens, and magic just keeps growing in power, while fighters hit a power roof they cannot progress beyond. Except in PvP of course because PvP in Dark Souls is a joke where you can just roll through anything or tank it to the face with the right gear :| Either way, get the Firesage Catalyst and you can poke enemies for 200+ Fire Damage. Extremely useful catalyst. If not that, Manus Catalyst, now you've got an axe. Then you can sprinkle on with some Pyromancy alternatives an- Oh, Sorcery only? And no Dark Sorcery? And no Moonlight Greatsword? No Shield? Still fun. And still options to use ~ That's the difference between Magic users and non-magic users. You have options. You need to plan and think what to use. A Fighter do not.

Idk about in PVE or PVP but you know what White Dragon Breath is really good for? Getting that blue titanite slab in the Crystal Cave. You can use it to tell where the invisible platforms are (or aren't). It's way better than using Prism Stones or arrows (shooting arrows right in front of you to see if there is a platform there).

Timon Richter Dex/Int gets you the best hyper mode while strength/faith allows for the best weapon buff on the strongest weapon for less dps but higher oneshots. Strength is really fun in DS1 and with faith you have great early game weapons you can use compared to dex.

Timon Richter hyper mode is power within plus red tear stone ring to achieve maximum damage multipliars. Dex gives you the highest dps dmg with the painted guardian sword and because the damage from a weapon buff stack; first hit has 150 buff dmg, second hit has 225 buff dmg, giving you the most damage while in hyper mode. As for weapons, the uchi is the worst of all katanas because of its moveset and it requieres you to kill a merchant for it, who sells loyd talismans important for pvp. The estoc is available earlier than the uchi, has more crit dmg, better moveset, less stat reuirement for strength making it easy for all classes to use and has great scaling. Less base dmg though.
