I’ve had all kinds of skin issues, from dryness to redness, but after trying the subliminal affirmations on borlest, my skin has become so much healthier and balanced. I’m really impressed!

I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. Spending a lot of time on my laptop and experiencing sleepless nights due to work often cause me dark circles under my eyes and dark spots from too much sunlight. My skin is easily affected by the sun since it's so delicate. It's difficult for me to find the correct skincare stuff. A friend suggested liiitlextra rice berry face serum and sunscreen to me. I chose to give them a try, and they really impressed me. I never know how they would work, but actually they did nice for my skin. I'm amazed at how my face glows now and how smooth my skin tone is. They have Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Black rice water, which helped reduce my dark spots, fix my skin tone, and protect it from aging and sun damage. It also keeps my skin moisturized and calm. I've learned something important: if you want good skin, you need to moisturize it regularly.

When my work keeps me up all night, this Riceberry Vitamin C serum is my go-to solution. It works to mask the effects of tiredness, lessening dark spots and giving my skin a much-needed glowing boost. This way, I can approach the day with self-confidence.

I’m not sure if you read these comments (especially on older posts) but first, thank you for your professional opinions and knowledge! I’ve recently started using Faded and due to having niacinamide in many other products I use daily, I’ve tried to find the percentage and reach out to the company. So far, no response. Their website FAQs do not disclose due to proprietary information of their formula. I am no stranger to this concept however when dealing with OTC products, it’s not uncommon to share some active ingredient percentages and it’s becoming the industry standard for skin care products. I was interested in this product due to your review, the ingredient list, and also seeing it founded by a pediatric dermatologist. Is there any other way for us to get clarification on some of the ingredient percentages of this product? Perhaps you may be aware of independent studies or other sources that guide consumers. If you read this far, thank you so much for your time.

Love you both! Enjoy your content a lot. Very informative. So, I have found dark spots on my jawline a few months back that were very obvious. Went to the dermatologist to find it was acid keratosis, from sun exposure for years. They treated the spots with cryotherapy. It is effective but the healing time is lengthy. Up to a month. I am now taking care of my skin better with retinoids and moisturizer at night, Vichy, moisturizer and sunscreen during the day. Getting older stinks! I just had a treatment the other day at the doctor and it is still sore as it dries my skin but I do see the treatment is effective. But while it is effective, it is unsightly while it is healing. I cover them lightly with some concealer but only when I go out and take off immediately when I get home. Any other suggestions would be helpful. Thank you both for your info! It is helpful and you both are adorable!!!

I read that it’s main active ingredient is supposed to be niacinamide, which doesn’t really bleach your skin - so it’s just false advertising. I also read that it may actually have bleach in it? I think the obsession with skin lightening is sad but I’m really curious to see it compared to real skincare that is supposed to be helpful.

Faded is great, along with retinoids like Tretinoin and prescription azelaic acid. It's not what most people want to hear, but some dark marks can take YEARS to fade and if you're prone to hyperpigmentation including PIE/PIH and melasma, you need an entire routine that is geared towards treating that consistently and continuously over years. Wearing sunscreen not only when outside but also inside is also key.

How do you get past the smell? I ordered a tube from Sephora and I thought I could get over it or it wear off, but it lingers.
@debbiemccune19522 жыл бұрын
@@Jennifer12342 It is the glutathione. It is a sufur amino acid. I heard they had recently reformulated it without the glutathione (or with much less) because of the odor complaints. That is a bummer IMO b/c I care more about performance than smelling like roten eggs for a few minutes. (I don't use "Faded" as I formulate my own skincare, but the glutathione smell fades for me...and I use a decent %.) I suggest giving the reformulation a try.

Ok, so I’m 53 yo gal with tan skin. HQ is not an option cuz I don’t want to risk rebound hyperpigmentation. I’m using Vit C and Faded in the a.m , then use tret 0,1% w/niacinamide in p.m . I’ve been using Faded for couple mos, and appears to be fading my hyperpigmentation on my cheeks

Invest in a real treatment as in a peel with a great esthetician. There’s nothing at Sephora to truly clear scars because you would need a prescription. They probably got paid by Sephora or the brand to promote. I don’t even think it has more than 2% Tranexamic acid and that’s enough. Even with 3% Tranexamic acid you would need to complement that with oral Tranexamic acid of about 500 mg a day.

So, Docs! Are you two making your unfavorable comments about the several MOISTURIZING alcohols? There's such a tremendous difference that you need to specify so as to avoid confusing the non-chemists out here watching you!

I’ve had skin pigmentation since my youth. I used to say well it’s from dad who had olive complexion and the white was from mom. When I had kids , it became more evident. In my fifties I was prescribed some creams from the dermatologist but it worked and it didn’t. My skin became extremely sensitive, sometimes itchy, couldn’t go out in the sun etc. I stopped using any cream because out of the blue I got eczema on my eyelids so I couldn’t use anything. My face was irritated a lot so I only used Cera Ve from the drugstore, face & eyelids. I’m in my sixties now and recently I noticed that the pigmentation is hardly noticeable, some areas I would say it’s gone and where it was raised it’s flat. I STRONGLY BELIEVE ITS BECAUSE I eliminated carbs from my diet. Since I was young my diet was 100% carbs, now I would say it’s 20% maybe less some weeks. I cut out carbs for health reasons and this helped my skin. I’m 100% sure about this for myself. 👍❤️🥳

At y'alls recommendation I've (68 year old female) been using Olay Overnight (purple pkg, unscented & no SPF) Retinol and Peptides for about 6 months now. My two hyperpigment spots, one on each upper cheek, have faded quite a lot. I also dab on a high quality mineral SPF when I'll be outside. I'll continue this indefinately. and fun fact, I emailed Olay and they informed me that the only ingredients that are not vegan, ie: not cruelty sourced, are their fragrance elements. This is a biggie for me.

I have old ancestors spots that are white due to melasma. I started using OTC Porcelana Night Time Cream, it says it has 2% Hydroquinone. I also use Niacinimide to help with the texture from the ance scarring. Thanks for all the info! I'm desperately trying to fix the melasma.

I thought melasma and dark spots were different… and was told that hydroquinone (like the studies talked about in this video) was effective against melasma… but not dark spots? The dermatologist who told this to me could be wrong so can someone clarify for me? I’d love to get a hold of anything that would clear my dark spots and if it’s hydroquinone, I do have that product and would like to use it
