This is true. I learned this some years back when I started dating women that live in the philippines. Then I started talking to a couple of females that lived in indonesia. And I noticed a lot of the same things they're talking about. 9 times out of 10 it's a con game. But they know that you're attracted to them. So they play into that. One Sosua isn't the Dominican Republic it's a play ground for single men. The rest of Dominican Republic isn't like Sosua.
