@Neil Bajwa caste system which we now use is made up system designed/modified by Britishers.. it is not the original one(Varna) of our antient civilisations.. . . For eg. As per Vedas varna is interchangeable, if someone wants to adopt hinduism he/she is free to choose whatever varna he/she desires. (Yes a sudra can become a Brahmin, and a brahmin can change into Kshatriya... But if you change a varna you need to behave according to varna.. a brahmin cannot desire money or power, a kshtriya cannot abandon a battlefield.. you get it) . Advantage of varna system is the nature of hierarchy which binds us to our roots of our civilization.. so it becomes difficult to convert us or make us follow something which is not dharma.. in short you cannot brainwash us. What Britishers did to break the varna system is 1. Change/modify our holy scriptures.. most of the Sanskrit texts which you read or heard of are deliberately misinterpreted when translated to English or local language.. to lower our self esteem..then they blame it on Brahmins 2. To design a new caste system from varna system they first made varna rigid (changing Verna was not possible).. then introduced reservation for certain casts.. So people from other caste were jealous because they were left out of the facilities.. 3. Come to modern India.. we still have the caste system.. the same govt. Vacancy based on reservation.. same divide based on caste increasing.

He proved his loyalty to British government multiple times, he participated in multiple war and fought for the queen in south africa. He came to india and a secret agent to help govern india. His concept of non violence help Britisher stay for extra 40 years in india. This caused death of millions indian due to man made famine like one in bengal. We got the full independence only because of Subhash Chandra Bose possessing indian army. Gandhi just supported congress claiming for just a dominion status and not full independence, but for getting throne or political power, gandhi and nehru came first.

We are now living in a time where Gandhiji's philosophies are being questioned? Why now? Because there a change in the government who want have some freedom fighters under their belt ... If Gandhiji used his popularity in a bad way to gain himself or Congress...I think any one can ....then the history books will become different for every decade....If we can't believe what is there in our textbooks then how can we can believe what you are telling...The only we can do focus on the future ..we cannot rely on the past because of multiple narratives...some will say Gandhiji is wrong and some will say netaji is wrong ....this will go on with the change of governments

@TJ P But how to get the true history ....How can you rely on any history...there will always be multiple theories and narratives ...I am not telling whatever we get in textbooks is true...My only point is we cannot rely on any history ...It is always been and always will be ...whatever we like we take it and whatever we like the big politicians will feed us and will always try to divide and rule us ....I think in my opinion whoever fought for our country in any form should be rewarded and should only have a good memory of them ( each and every one of them ) We should not come to a point of choosing one freedom fighter over one another....and that should not dictate today's politics...I think in my view highlighting Netaji and finding about his death is a good thing and demeaning Gandhiji is a bad thing..
