As a former rich kid, my parents did NOT spoil me with new stuff, they would only buy me things I wanted when I actually have done something of value (like finish a grade with straight A’s). Honestly my parents did a good job at raising me, too bad most rich kids didn’t :((

50:49 I know him personally. He's severely Autistic as well as bipolar. This video is from years ago. He's 17 now, so this was not from 2023. He's been institutionalized countless times, and they've even appeared on Dr. Phil, where he exploited them and made it sound like his mom (the lady restraining him; his mom) was the person that was making him act that way when his brain wasn't functioning right. He's actually a chill guy.

I was a very spoiled child but was still taught heavy discipline and was raised in a household of respect. And if I threw a fit as like a little kid my mom would do the iconic "stop crying or I'm going to give you something to cry about" and it would be worse If I threw a fit like these kids 🤣. Not only that, I got my frist job at 14 (Also loved the Video)

As a fellow not spoiled kid, i know the wonders of growing up every 3-4 years with only one pair of shoes, yeah over time they might eventually look like they've seen hell but unlike having multiple pairs of shoes that are uncomfortable and unfitting after a few hours, in shoes that you grow into they practically mold into a shape that perfectly fits onto your feet after like a year or 2 of walking in em and once that happens you're set for the next 3 years after that

I always grew (and still am, since I'm 15) my overall body really much and rapidly, so every year or year and a half I needed new shoes. My parents always told me to choose for a pair of shoes to use for special occasions, like going to a restaurant, going out with a girl etc., and the other shoes that still fit me would become the usual shoes, since they became the oldest. I really like how my parents teach me, because I don't define myself as greedy, nor I like being minimalistic, I just have a limit on my desires for things. I don't understand how some kids grow up so spoiled, greedy and unappreciative, because my last 2 Christmas presents (each from one year apart) were 100 euros and a pair of bike gloves, that's it. I always appreciated anything I received from people that worked hard or sacrificed themselves to give that thing to me, it's the bare minimum anyone should do as an act of appreciation. Even if it's not a thing I like, I gladly accept it, as it's the gesture that really matters, not the present itself. (Sorry for bad English, I'm Italian.)

I lived with my grandparents for basically my entire childhood. Had a phone before the age I was originally planned to get one. Had multiple video game consoles. Got a lot of stuff I wanted. I was so thankful just seeing how fortunate I was, even if I did take it for granted sometimes. I never had a mansion or anything like that, nothing exactly fancy. But I do think a kids behavior and mindset is half the kid, half the parent. Because even growing up getting a lot of the things I wanted like these children, I was and still am actually grateful and committing my life to repaying my parents rather then flaunting it.

Some spoiled kid at my school thought her own name was copyrighted and hated her parents saying they hate her, I’ve met her parents before they seem to be very nice and buy her whatever she wants. She never worked a day in her life and thinks she’s the best at everything and wants to go to Harvard despite the fact she doesn’t study at all. She has all bad grades and probably will go to Harvard (her choice school) because she has enough money. She even insulted me once for trying to talk about some troubling stuff for me, always changing the subject to her. She hasn’t changed and it’s been years- she’s prob a lost cause (she’s a southpark shipper and fakes depression 😭)

My Step-daughter is exactly like the one who wanted her late night movie. She's been that way since she was 5 and is still that way at 15. It got so bad one morning with her not wanting to go to school so to show her disapproval she proceeded to jump on her mom, yes ON her mom feet first, until she got her way and stayed home. Anyone who is going to be a step parent do what i didn't do and lay down some heavy ground rules at the start to avoid this kind of heart ache. Stop the single parent "spoil your kid attitude" asap.

He would show no fear and still be angry. You think comforting him will be easy. Nope you will get kicked by him instead. Note: Nobody in my family has severe anger issues except for him. He adopted it from the internet. Im soon going to a flight for about 20 hours. I have to pray to god he doesn’t get angry honestly or else my whole family will be kicked out No 6 year old kid can compare to his anger.

as a “rich kid,” it gets me so riled up to hear people say that money is everything and we have no problems. that is NOT true. this is coming from a teenager with an infiniti, all the latest tech, mansion home, private school and all - i’ve attempted suicide over three times. it’s not all it’s made out to be. everyone has their own demons, and if you have money you don’t have no problems, you simply have different ones. i would give anything to go to a public school and worry about what we’re going to eat that night rather than deal with a crippling slew of mental health problems. yes, there are some stupid kids who flaunt everything, but it’s annoying to hear anyone with extra money reduced down to nothing but that. i’ve counted my blessings every day of my life and never intend to stop.
