My first contact with black metal was back in 2006, I was still a teen. I remember it like yesterday, it was "Over Bjoergvin graater himmerik" album and I got hooked right from the start. I discovered other bands in the following years, good bands too but no one managed to give me the goosebumps Taake did when I first hit "play" on my old walkman on that December afternoon. For me personally, Taake represents the true sound of Black Metal, a standard if you will. They manage to create this immersing, unique atmosphere in almost every song and this one is no exception. I'm very thankful and happy to see them create new material and I hope this will be the norm in the years to come! \m/
