Uhg, why are people so obsessed with how thick the straps are? Like, do they really think there's that much difference in less than an inch of fabric on someone's shoulder? Oof, don't want those hot, hot shoulders turning people on right? I've gotten dress coded in school for that, made even worse that it wasn't even spaghetti straps, it was just a tank top strap that was a little too thin. And I was wearing under an open button up shirt so it wasn't even visible.

And she’s TWO. If they have preteen students in the school leering at a two year old bc they can see her shoulders then they will not be stopped by an extra inch of fabric. And it’s THEIR parents the school should be talkin to lol

@alfredkugler30433 жыл бұрын
I think the problem is much more that they can't allow ANYBODY to violate the dress code. After all, if the 2yo can do it, the 13yo girl that sees it will try it too. Still, the dress code as such is certainly ridiculous. 2.54cm (1 in) straps or 1cm straps makes no difference IMO.

I'm not religious, but my favourite part of the bible is when some guys are being "tempted" by women, and ask Jesus what to do. He says, if you can't NOT touch them, cut off your goddamn hands. They say, what about looking at them, and Jesus says if you can't look at them without perving on them, burn out your eyes. It's chuffing genius and all these horrible schools and Karens need to know that even Jesus thought their male children are perverts and to sort themselves out! 😂😂😂

Solar panels... there is much more than just the panels! you need the wiring, then charge controllers, then battery bank, then an inverter to go to AC! the panels are just the part that collects the solar power.

One thing I found quite effective against Karen's with spoiled and/or entitled sons: (Or like the day care Karen's) Uno reverse the S-shaming. It quite literally breaks their sad excuse of a brain. As it does not conform to the rigid gender roles that they exist within.

The last of these stories was really nice. I much prefer stories with a good ending like that over the ones where spite is propagated with vengeance. No matter how much a person seems to or actually does deserve something bad, it never really solves anything when bad things happen. Tends to just make things worst in the long run. Appropriate measures being taken to prevent further harm is fine. Don't worry, I'm not so naive as to think that everything can be solved so cleanly. I just wish it could be the case.

I love the last story because that entitled mother went “ oh crap did I seriously drive my daughter away you know what this is unacceptable I have to do something with my life“ and good for her for actually seeking out psychiatric help because that’s one of the biggest steps in understanding that you have a problem and they can potentially get you on the road to fixing it so I’m glad that was a great outcome and hopefully if everything goes well that lady will understand that what she’s doing to the cats is a bad thing and try to get them put in Foster homes so they could potentially be adopted I mean that’s probably an impossibility but a girl can dream right

Glad that last one had a happy ending- my mom tried to breakup me and my first serious "badboy" boyfriend by accusing him of stealing 50bucks and threatening to call the cops on him...the way she made the ultimatum was just really really sus, she went way overboard and the timing of it- we were about to leave the state for me to visit his parents for the first time...which makes me think mom wanted us to breakup before things got serious?? Which seems sweet on one hand but on the other- I wish she could have just TRUSTED me and my choices, respected me enough- I'm not a COMPLETE idiot and I wasn't planning on MARRYING this guy!! He was just cool and hot and had a motorcycle and I was just sowing some wild oats, not looking to get impregnated!! My mother and I could've sat down like adults and TALKED about it, instead she'd rather make up lies and ultimatums...these days my wild oats are sown and now I am married to a lovely guy whose a dork like me lol (we suit each other perfectly and I doubt mom would have planted 50bucks on him) and we have 2 lovely kids, in the state that I ran away to, I never did end up coming back. These days mother and I barely have a relationship but my ex still comes over every now and then to do our lawn lol, I still exchange Xmas and Birthday cards with his mom!! Let your kids grow up and just support them through their mistakes, if you love them "let them go" and all that cos when you don't those apron strings feel like a damn noose

Last story sounds like my mom. Except right before I left at the age of 36 she got physical with me and my boyfriend. I moves back in with her prior to this because she became very ill almost died. Didn't last a year living with her. She attacked me because I wouldn't allow her control had to lock myself in the guest room she used a steak knife to pry the door open as I used my weight to keep the door shut. Bf shows up she takes the wreath hanger from the front door and attacks him with it all the while he kept his foot in the door jam to keep her from closing the door. He wasn't going to leave until I was safe. Cops got called. They got physical evidence of assault ( double knots on my forehead and bruising) and she was charged. Once she found out she was being charged she tried to get me charged. I only touched her to get her off of me until I was able to get away. The cops asked her why she didn't tell them this before because they talked to her first as I was still in the room even though I heard the cop in the apartment I didn't come until they came to the door and asked could they come in. Because she couldn't press charges on me she wanted to charge my bf for trespassing but he wasn't because he never physically stepped into her home. Which is an apartment. He stay in the hallway with only his foot blocking the door jam. That night I packed everything I had there and left. My mom is on probation for 2 years and has to do anger management before the two years is up and the charges will be dropped from her record. But like this story our relationship is a lot better now. She loves my bf and she apologized for her actions and is sweet as can be. I love my mom very much I just hate that we had to go through this for her to see what my sister and I always had go through with her growing up. She's finally getting the help she needed all these years. Maybe I should put this on reddit written better of course. Hmmm 🤔
