About a decade ago I worked in a charity shop in the UK. Some entitled woman left her kid in the shop to go get her hair and nails done. The kid was at least 5 or 6 and we had to call the police. The mother heard about it and came back screaming racism, everyone working in the shop were white and she was black. The mad woman was intending to leave her in our care for more than 2 hours!. Glad that we found out that the paternal grandparents were regular customers, but couldn't originally take the kid because they were at the hospital. The Grandfather had to leave his wife alone, at the hospital, to come pick up his grand daughter. Sadly there are total monsters in this world who see children as a fashion accessory and will ditch them at the first opportunity if they get in the way of their lifestyle. Before, in the Colonial era of Europe, the rich just hired a Nanny to completely raise their kids and they had little to no contact with them. We are now going beck to that with the increasing number of stories, like the one in this video, about people abandoning their kids to go to parties or on holiday. Just as a PSA, if you're looking at buying a home with an HOA, make sure there is a management company actually running things. The development I grew up in (ended up buying a house there latter) was run by an HOA like in the story, and the president of the board and her husband were honestly the 2 most miserable old people you'd ever met. It was their nightly ritual to get in their Mercury and drive around looking for anything, and some of the rules were just nuts. Trash cans couldn't be out to early, if still out the next morning they'd impound them and fine you, kids playing outside, at the community pool to late, changing a flat (they considered this working on the car) having a flat tire (vehicle was considered abandoned) and on and on. Once they died however, no one wanted the damn job and they ended up hiring a management company. Over night the fines stopped, used to be a weekly fining board meeting, then nothing. All of the stupid rules were reduced to literally half a page of common sense stuff as well. And the best part is, the special assessments for repairs and what not were lower, since a large management company can negotiate better contracts then some stupid HOA board. So now the board is basically an oversight comity and just tends to the day to day stuff the management company doesn't, and its really nice now. Grass gets cut every week, things get repaired like they should be, and all that, and other then the notices they're having a meeting we don't even notice they are there.

Story 1: I used to live in a rural type town I was in. Our house was decent but our lawn was *massive* At least 1/3 of an acre. In the summer I would have to mow it down as it grew rapidly if I did not and became even harder to mow if I put it off. Now part of our property had a dirt road that cut past the back of the house behind other houses on the block behind us. Then it leads to an even bigger plot of land that the city always mowed as it was not on anyone's property. One person would always get mad when I mowed my lawn (which sometimes took over an hour in 100° weather with a push mower) and never mowed that even larger field basically. She would always state it was her property and she could not do it herself. (Her being in her 30's and me being a teenager around 16) Every time I would tell her the city mows it and I had no obligation or money for gas to mow it. She wanted it kept mowed because her children played in that field. Some entitlement just shocks me Edit: I will never *EVER* live in a community that has an HOA like in the last story. There are too many people like "Queen Karen" who abuse their power. I like living how I want and I will *NEVER* live where I can get fined for not conforming to some power hungry psycho hose beast or ego stroking dickhead.

I love your video of the Karen who tries to "rob" a bank. I don't really think that was her intent. It is soooooo funny. There was also a story of a Karen who left her daughter at a bookstore. She lost her daughter also. Glad that those kids had someone to keep them safe. I love your new animation. Looks fabulous! lol

The HOA one is literally what’s happing in my neighborhood now. And it’s only happening to my family. Plants on our fence? We get a notice. Trash bags left outside our door for the night? We get a notice. Not enough parking places in our neighborhood? We have to park in our tiny garages that most people us for storage. And we have to pay around $400 a month for basically nothing. Sure it pays for our community pool but it’s only ever heated for like 4 months out of the year and the gardeners dont even do their jobs either

I think that HOA Karen thought she WAS doing a, "job". She was protecting the turf? Therefore, I think she felt entitled to be paid for said, "job". And that people would appreciate her efforts. Twisted, I know! The hubby thing is relevant because it shows Karen had no moral high ground just esthetics (the way things look)...

I don't understand what was going through Cruise Karen's head when she just left her daughter at OP's with no conversation. No, "I'm gonna out of town, could you watch her for a week?" She really thought they'd just be ok with looking after this kid an entire week with no notice and wouldn't call the police? Bizarre. 😂

Second Story: I saw a post on a video from Ailurus where a mother thought it was a good idea to leave her 3 year old all alone while going on vacation for about a week. Unlike the kid in Story 2, the 3 year old was left at home and died during that time period. How bad of a stain do you have to be to abandon your child either at home or at a daycare for over 5 days so you could go on vacation?

12:35 - Never buy a home in an HOA if you want reasonable control over your own property. I don't care how good the HOA is. Especially stay away if you're thought is, "It's not that bad......" Only exception is if you're buying into a Condo.

One thing that confused me a bit about the 2nd story; The Grandmother couldn't find her daughter/grandaughter and hired someone, yet OP found the grandmother via a tag on facebook through the daughter's page. Wouldn't that mean the grandmother and daughter were friends on FB for the tag to still work? or at the very least the grandmother was not blocked by her daughter?

You can selectively block people for certain photos. So she may have blocked her from new things not from the old things.

@Itcouldbebunnies Жыл бұрын
Child abduction is a very serious crime. Car theft and possession of a controlled substance can also lead to a hefty prison sentence depending on the circumstances and the country you live in. There's a decent chance she made things even worse for herself by acting like a total Karen in court, judges tend to come down extra hard on those types.

The first story was a blessing in disguise. That girl had been kidnapped by her mother and the dad may have never found her otherwise.

The entitled neighbor lady reminded me of when I lived in a trailer park. Quiet lady on one side of me and an old lady on the other side. In the winter we were responsible for clearing the snow off the sidewalks in front of the homes. When I would go out and clear in front of our home, I would also clear the quiet lady's sidewalk. I didn't do the old lady's. She had a 20 something year old grandson living with her and I figured he could do their walkway. She would complain because I did the other neighbor's but not hers. Eventually the park manager sent a parkwide notice that all members of the community could only do their own portion of the sidewalk. I guess the old lady got her way. Her grandson never picked up a snow shovel so I think the park manager came down and did it. I don't care. I didn't live there long. That trailer park is no longer there and I left that state 14 years ago.
