Ik this is old but, I sort of agree that they should’ve kept malistaire dead(story wise at least) he should’ve been left to rest in peace when you first face him in dragonspyre. But I won’t lie it’s fun to see different KZbinrs play through this entire dungeon and the darkmoor music had became an ear worm.

How is any other wizard supposed to do this? Death wizards can hit and get their health back. I don't think any other wizards can afford to even spend a turn healing. Not to mention the constant bubble changes, a sanctuary would be really hard to cast.

It is extremely difficult, I have soloed the entire game on this death wizard as of now and the first fight of this instance is still the second most difficult fight in the game to solo in my opinion. My balance character is getting close to this fight though so it will be the first test in seeing how to do this on other schools.

Hey, first video I'm watching in this series, what's the whole "on a budget" thing? just no crowns spending?

No crowns spending, must make pets only through kiosk (no getting lends from people) and playing the game completely solo (except farming for gear after I've soloed a boss, but it still needs to be farming with others that are farming the gear too and not getting carried.)

How do you get into the later areas without crowns or paying? I know that you can get 100 crowns from the mini quizzes but other than that how do you progress into the later areas?

this is like a year old video but for shane couldnt you have used a doom and gloom so he doesnt heal alot

I could have but Shane himself is able to use Doom, so I was relying on him using it.

Do you have a reason for going defensive rather than trying it more offensive?

It is nearly impossible to do it offensive with the gear setup I have. If I had the Dworgyn boots, I would try an offensive setup, but I couldn't get them. Yevgeny has 55% base pierce and his minions have 25% pierce and they spam overtimes. After turn 5, Yevgeny has 80% pierce and his minions have 50% pierce.

Passively farmed just by questing/farming for other things. Some of the jewels may be from Monkey spiders, I can't say for sure. Which jewels are you referring to specifically?
