Hands down the most wholesome black metal documentary ever with zero bullshit postvring. Looks like a legit great time.

Thanks to Conrad and Justyna of SZUM for your interest and energy in putting this together and getting it out there to a wider audience about the little wood up from the Lake.

Wicked documentary I grew up walking around the frozen lakes around the lake district. Moved to NZ and discovered black metal. I'd go along to gigs where Bolzers early band "Aphelon" would play. There was a small but exciting little scene.. Moved back to the UK an haad a long break from listening to the genre but with winter arriving I seem to be naturally gravitating back to it. Looking forward to exploring the scene here.

Ive watched this video loads of times already... amd can see it getting watched again several times over the winter. Thanks Conrad and Justyna from Szum for making it, its an absolute joy. Great seeing so many friendly faces talking so warmly about a scene and a place that we all love and find so much sense of belonging within. 🫶

Well crafted documentary. Lucid voices. Really enjoyed it. It is good to know that there are pockets of sanity and woodland reverence still

Attending this in 2023 was the MOST AMAZING experience ever, thank you DOC. Surrounded by people on a level to which few are attune, met more new metalheads mates there than I met the entirety of my life, and sharing breakfast with some of you aside the wonderful Lake Minsmere just a stones throw away. Its brilliant to see this documentary and the interlinking infinities between this form of Godly Music, honouring Earth, Spirits both of illuminating light and thick shrouding darkness.

Great documentary - very well edited. I need to go to this event. Dylan from Hecate with his cigar is almost the goat, but that honour has to go to Barry; what a visionary \m/

I've been to this festival many times and to see somebody was finally documenting it was heartening. I had a brief chat with you, just after you filmed Nicholas of Aklash, and you have done a great job of capturing my favourite festival. I hope it carries on, but if it doesn't you have put a footprint on history with recording this. I thank you for that.
