Spoilers If the story about the neighbors is true, I hope at least the guy who tampered with the truck got arrested. I don't know if commanding your dogs to attack the people restraining your husband who just fled the scene of a crime is illegal, but tampering with their truck definitely is and a good lawyard could probaly argue that tampering with the breaks counts as attempted murder. Maybe with that on record the police would treat the neighbors as suspects in the harassment and do the "protect" part of their job before someone ends up dead.

I have so many questions about the school camping trip story. Maybe it's because I'm a former teacher, it really made no sense to me. A teacher physically threw a student. Then the student was forced to stay outside, overnight, alone? Another student also sustained a significant head injury, but recieved no medical care, and spent the night in a teacher's private cabin? The same staff member then sent students out into the woods to look for the missing kid after he was left outside all night? I couldn't focus on the horror part. What is even happening?!

Best to not dig too deep into these stories, most of them fall apart under casual scrutiny. Like in the second story where the neighbor somehow opened the hood of the car without getting in the car to hit the release lever... Thats either a pre-1950's car, passed out drunk, or utter fiction.

FYI, it's Shasta with a short A as in nasty. If you pronounce California the way you do Shasta, you would sound just like AH-nold. In other words, you are Gubernatorial material here in the Golden State. And I am so thrilled that you've added a third Creepypasta category to Tales from the Breakroom and Unexplained Encounters. This is wonderful. Also, I love your taste in music, but I've got to say the ambient bird noises were wonderful. They put me right on the trail with the characters you were narrating about.

My advice to anyone, especially young couples… do Not camp in out of the way camping sites far from people! My second piece of advice is this… carry a weapon for goodness sakes? If you decide to ignore my advice on camping deep in the woods then at least carry a weapon. If people come to your campsite and do what they did to this couple, shoot two shots in the air, tell them the next one will NOT be a warning. Once they know you’re not a easy target they will leave, unfortunately bad people are looking for victims who are alone and far from other campers.

Regarding Gettysburg, there is far more to the area than the battle; like my own experience at Spangler's Spring. I went there one evening with a friend. We were just milling about in the dark, slacking off. All of the sudden, we both smelled lilacs. The scent faded, and we began looking around. We found the scent again, a few paces up the road. The scent faded, and, again, we picked it up further up the road. It was literally moving. I have zero doubts this was the presence of a young woman who had drown herself when her betrothed skipped town. There are two main reasons I know we weren't just smelling natural lilac blooms. 1) There aren't any lilacs there, and the honeysuckle is a very distinctly different scent. 2) It was November....
@nathanbrady8529 Жыл бұрын
For context, lilac water was a popular inexpensive perfume in the 1800s. Something a young woman in a farming community certainly would have had access to.

#3 has issues, I think. I’m not clear on all the legalities, but there may be problems because they followed him into his yard when the brother caught him. Anything at that point might be considered self defense. I don’t know, but if they’d had cameras up, the neighbor would’ve been caught messing with the car and the fence.
@derikclose1421 Жыл бұрын
The issues with the story are much more than that. 1st off if you're going to do a stake out in your car to catch someone why would fall asleep when you see them. Then how does said someone open your hood when it needs to be popped from the inside 1st. All signs point to bs.

A man can obviously kill any other man he can sneak up on however it would take more than a passing INTENT to kill two people by choking. That was a really good one so much left to the imagination in a short story, the narrator is in the perfect position to create intrigue for the reader.
@JamesChessman Жыл бұрын

@MGJDMNJ Жыл бұрын
@@phantom_blade555 well bjj uses the guard which is being on your back. There are great bjj guys who win tournaments just using the guard and willing drop to their back right away. A purple belt shouldn’t really be concerned by going to their back so him being pinned means nada unless he mounted him or passed his guard into side control. If the story said something like “he effortlessly passed my guard into side control and then arm-barred me”, it would make a bit more sense. Again, I thought it was a cool story and don’t want it to come off like I’m hating on the guy.

34:36 another fake story. It’s starts off with the submitter saying “I was a teach at that school too” to then a student saying go her “if you open the door I’ll kill you” with the teacher then rolling her eyes and pushing past her to open the door??? What? A student just threatened a teachers life? The other teacher there said that the bully student has to stay outside over night? “No one let him in the cabin”? Ever heard of federal prison wtf??? And the bully student was too good of an athlete to expel, yet if someone lets him in then they’ll get expelled? Again, WHAT? And how old are these students for a guy to trip a girl, then step on her wrist? If he’s in school sports, he’s 13-18 years old. But for the school to care about his athletics, then it has to be high school age. While it’s possible, it’s highly highly highly unlikely that the student would trip someone, busting their head open, then continuing to stand on their wrist? Come on now.
