This was an insanely incredible comp, pleeease do this again! These stories were fascinating and all resonated as truth with their profound detail. I am one hundred percent enthralled by monsters/creatures/cryptids, etc, in the forests. What is further interesting are not only the possibilities of creatures in the forests but derranged people. Again, these stories were great and this is easily my new fave video, thanks so much.

I've been listening to videos like this for so long trying to find a story about that type of monster in the woods. I'm from Arkansas and when I was 8 years old me and my cousin walked up on an abandoned house in the woods and the exact creature he described in the first story was hanging out of the window. It looked surprised kind of caught off guard it just hung there in the window slowly showing its teeth. I'm literally tearing up rn. the most horrifying looking thing I've ever seen in my entire life! it's been 20 years now and I've never told anybody. This really gives me the creeps because I still live on the same land that we seen it on.

The stories that stood out to me the most was the one called “the whimpering thing”, which I think was read sometime in 2019? Then there was one about this incessant but faint howling that a person kept hearing on their property and one morning they saw a messed up looking deer in their driveway and the noise was coming from that. Third, there was a story going around that have been narrated by a number of horror narrators and it was about this canine like creature on a family farm that Three different generations had to deal with.

I'm the same way! It's reminiscent of when parents used to tell bedtime stories! Darkness is one of my favorite. I also like Let's Read, Raven Reads, what lurks beneath, swamp dweller, lazy masquerade,...and if you are interested in real, documented, encounters Beyond Creepy is my absolute favorite.

Does anyone remember a story about a canadian search and rescue dude looking for a missing person? He finds a cave with a flintlock pistol in it alongside newer evidence of people and goes inside. He ends up face to face with a pale humanoid and shoots it with his flaregun. The creature catches the sizzling flare in it's fingers and looks at it curiously, giving our guy time to escape. The narrator decides that it was probably a "vampire" that had stalked the region since before the first white settlers. Does this ring any bells? It was the scariest! It gave me nightmares. 😱

@@hellyvillarreal8813 Are you getting vertigo from an inner ear problem? My best friend had that and got it under control. It was very bad, but the doctor was able to get her in a better state so that it is not an issue now. I think it's called meniers disease? Anyway, don't give up, there ARE Treatments ! It is awful. But, can be kept under control. I don't know if that's what you have, but I want you to have a positive outcome, which is definitely possible!!

Aye, revisiting some oldies in a creative layout! I remember a story that I heard in 2017 that was really creepy too, though I think it was since deleted as it was part of a collection of Goatman stories that I can't find

Was it the one with the hunter in a valley and he found a dying wild sheep right at the start? I think he had a dog with him and there were voices blowing in the wind up the valley? I wish I could remember more to narrow it down!
@nicolemarieb.7044
@nicolemarieb.7044 3 жыл бұрын
@@Nyctophora it was a long story, a drunk cousin of the grandfather went missing while hunting on the farm property. Then the father (as a young boy) went out with an older friend called Indian Joe or something. They found a shredded deer and gtfo. Then during a night drive into the field, they saw a vicious canine face in the woods. Yrs later, their dogs got mauled. It was like a 30 yr long saga at the farm
@TheUltimateNavigator1
@TheUltimateNavigator1 3 жыл бұрын
@@Nyctophora That one reminds me of the story he told with a farmer who had just gotten the land and had begin hearing loud high whistle noises coming from the distance. Each day they sounded closer and later this hunter ends up going missing and stuff.

@@nicolemarieb.7044 The one I remember is slightly similar, it's about this kid who had been stalked by the goatman when taking out the trash, and I think gets chased, but his parents end up leaving and the kid ends up falling asleep, soon later he hears a window shatter and he goes and hides and hears the goatman's footsteps. Finally he's able to get him out of his house and puts a chair into the door which it pounds on the door and the chair does not stay attached before the parents come home and the goatman quickly leaves them. I think there's some more but that is the most foggy part of my memory from this story

One time a friend of mine came out to our place to camp out with her niece and nephew. She wanted us to scare them. I made up a story about 'The woman of the woods' about a ghost you could see walking through the woods. My daughter went back to the house and got a sheet then started walking through the trees close to the camp. We were standing around the fire, and the boy looked back and saw my daughter, and he literally stepped THROUGH the fire. He came through so fast, it didn't hurt him. Didn't mean to scare him that bad.lol
